Chapter 11

Clay was reading the Knights' Code (again) one day while he spotted Robin fixing the squire-bots at the fortrex' main hall. He went to talk to him.

"Heya, Robin. You really are a busy Knight-in-training."

"Clay!" Robin turned around and saw Clay standing right behind him. "You scared the heck outta me!"

"Sorry, heh heh..." Clay apologised.

"Oh! By the way, I'm pretty fed up of being a Knight-in-training. I mean, look at me! What am I doing now? What have I been doing all this time? I have been assisting you Nexo Knights, and Merlok during multiple attacks in Knighton! And along with Ava too! She's a GENIUS! And she's also a Knight-in-training."

"Yup, she is." Clay replied. "But she didn't seem to have complained about anything."

"Well...Ava once told me that she really wanted to graduate faster in order to have more time to spend with all of us in the fortrex!" Robin replied. "She's great!"

"She is, indeed." Clay replied. "I'm really impressed of her typing skills and her wide knowledge about technology. I've always wondered how she managed to type so fast, and how she's able to learn so much about technology. Even Lance admired her for that!"

"Yup! I agree with you, Clay." Robin replied with a smile. "Well, I have to admit, that I REALLY admired Ava. She's beautiful...and talented! What's this feeling? *gasp* Am I..."

"Yup, Robin." Clay replied. "You have a crush on her."

"OH MY GOSH!" Robin gasped once more. "I'm BLUSHING for the first time! Am I?"

"Yes. Yes you are, Robin." Clay replied. "Your cheeks are bright red."

"Well...I'm a newbie when it comes to expressing my feelings of love towards a girl whom I like... So...I'm kinda nervous right now... What should I do, Clay?" Robin asked.

"You should ask Lance. He's a professional at confessions and pick up quotes. But sometimes, even he could also be a little nervous like you, Robin..."

"Yeah." Robin replied as Clay playfully messed around with his hair.

"Heh heh heh, stop that! Ha ha ha!" Robin laughed with joy and embarrassment. Then he thought about something as Clay stopped.

"Umm...Clay?" Robin called him. "Shouldn't you be attending the royal wedding by now?"

Oh dear! Clay has completely forgotten about the wedding!

"Oh my! Thanks for reminding me about this, Robin. Must dash!" Clay said hastily as he went into his vehicle, without even combing his messy hair.

"I shouldn't be late!" Clay mumbled to himself.
