[Completed] Clay, Lance, and Macy - Two Knights and A Princess

Chapter 7

Lance looked at Clay. He just arrived at the room and heard a part of the conversation. But he knew what happened, and now, he is obviously very very mad at him.

"Lance, have you been hiding about something?" he asked.

"Wait! I can explain..." Lance tried but failed.

"I trusted in you. You were my second best friend, next to Jestro. And he's never done something like this before, unlike you!" Clay snapped at Lance.

Lance kept quiet for a while. He knew he should've told Clay that he had a crush on Macy too. But, he chose not to. And now, he was going to tell Clay about what his father had just told him, and at the same time, tell him that he loved Macy too.

But now, it's too late. Clay knew before he even told him about the crush and the wedding. And he is very very furious about it.

"Clay, I'm sorry!" Lance apologised. "I should've told you earlier that I too had a crush on Macy. But I didn't wanna hurt your feelings..."

"Explain the wedding, Lance. Why didn't you even tell me about IT?" Clay is very furious. He didn't want to hear any excuses from Lance.

"I just knew about the wedding, Clay, I swear!" Lance tried to explain.

"He's right, Clay!" Macy arrived as she heard Clay scolding Lance. "He's not lying."

"Macy!" Clay and Lance exclaimed as they saw their crush.

"Macy, don't tell me that you're with him," Clay said.

"I'm with him." Macy said bravely and confidently. "I just knew about this too, actually. Like yesterday. Lance is right, Clay. Don't be mad at him... I too should've told you that..."

"That...what?" Clay asked.

"T-That I love both of you!" Macy finally told them the truth after keeping her secret to herself for such a long time. "Equally! I just...couldn't choose between the two of you! Clay is daring and responsible, while Lance is charming and courteous... The two of you are both my dream men! I...I love the both of you!"

Clay and Lance stared at each other blankly. Then, they turned around and blushed at Macy.

Aaron, Axl, and Jestro came as well, after hearing the noise. The three of them hid behind a wall as they watched the other three Knights. They gawked speechlessly as they heard Macy's confession.

Macy kept quiet. She knew that she had said it all. She blushed instantly.

Clay is still mad, though. Lance could see it through his eyes.

"I had been keeping this for months..." Macy confessed. "I'm sorry. I should've told the two of you earlier. I went to seek Merlok for advice, and I told him everything..."

"Oh great, now even Merlok knew about this too before I did?!?" Clay's anger surfaced once more. "I should've known..."

Then, Clay stomped away angrily, leaving the place as quick as he could.

"Wait, Clay!" Macy tried to call him to come back, but failed.

Clay stomped out of the castle, leaving Macy and Lance standing I front of the room, watching him blankly, and at the same time, completely speechless. Lance weeped a little.

Clay stomped past Aaron, Axl, and Jestro, who pretended that they just arrived at the spot.

"Clay, old buddy old pal," Jestro called him. "What happened? You look angry..."

Clay ignored his best friend as he continued to stomp back to his room at the fortrex.

Merlok, Ava, and Robin saw him. The two (still) Knights-in-training (as they haven't graduated...yet) looked at him, confused and puzzled. As for Merlok, he knew what had happened.

"Oh dear..." Merlok sighed as he turned off his crystal ball. "This is going to be tough..."
