"WHAT?!? You and Lance will be WED?!?" Jestro asked Macy to make sure that she is serious about what she told him and the others.

"Yeah, and the both of us wouldn't wanna hurt Clay's feelings," Macy replied. "So we decided to keep quiet... which was a bad idea."

"I know I might have a crush on the Princess, but even I am very surprised about the news." Lance blushed as he said. "I couldn't accept it either, as it was such a sudden. I don't blame Clay for being mad, though..."

The others agreed as Lance and Macy smiled at each other. Macy patted him on the back to comfort him.

"Clay is a good man." she said. "I'm sure that he'll eventually decide to forgive you, Lance."

"Yeah..." Lance agreed. "Thanks, Princess... But what about the wedding? My dad says that it is FINAL! How could we stop it? He had an agreement with your dad, Macy!"

"Yeah! I almost completely forgotten about this!" Macy exclaimed. "Merlok, have you figured out a way to solve this problem?"

Merlok came, in Robin's mini-trex, as he heard Macy's question.

"Well, you could beg your father, Macy. Is it okay with you?" Merlok asked her.

"I dunno. This is going to be hard, as my father is a little hot-headed." said the Princess Knight. "Furthermore, this is an agreement, which involves a paper for both the signatures of my dad and Lance's dad."

"Did he still keep the paper, Macy?" Merlok asked.

"Maybe..." Macy said. "He once told me that he keeps most of his valuable stuff in a big purple box in his wardrobe. I wonder if that's the place where he kept the agreement."

"You...wanted to tear the paper into pieces, right, Merlok?" Lance asked mischievously.

"Heh heh heh...no." Merlok replied. "Maybe... But maybe the King will, if you plead him, Macy."

"Uh uh uh, won't work." Macy replied. "He hates it when I do this. And when he makes a decision, no one could convince him to change it. Sometimes, even my mom couldn't do it."

"Wow, what a tough ruler." Aaron said.

"Then...what could you do now, Macy?" Jestro asked.

"Yeah," Axl agreed. "It looks like you didn't have a choice."

"Yup, that's what I was gonna say, everybody..." Macy replied. "I've decided to quit thinking about this problem. Let's just see how it goes, then..."

The others just sighed, except for Lance.

Cuz, he disappeared.

"Lance?" Macy called him. "LANCE!!!"

Lance is nowhere to be seen.

It appears that Lance was walking towards Clay's room. He peeked through his slightly opened (new) door and saw him mumbling on his bed.

"Oh, Lancelot, my friend. I'm very sorry about how I treated you just now... Wait! Nonononono... Again! Oh, Lancelot, my DEAR friend. I'm very VERY sorry about the way I treated you just now. We were brothers... I mean...like brothers. Yeah, like brothers. We are not related, heh heh heh... Okay, I'll continue. We were like brothers, and I sincerely treasure our friendship..."

Lance could hear everything, and he shed a few happy and thankful tears. It's nice to have Clay as a friend.
