[Completed] Clay, Lance, and Macy - Two Knights and A Princess

Chapter 6

The mysterious person eventually revealed himself to be...

"DAD?!?" Lance was shocked.

"Heh heh!" Cuthbert chuckled. "Hi, son!"

"What are you doing here?!?" Lance asked him. "I thought you were..."

"At home?" Cuthbert questioned his son. "Nah! I would rather look at my precious son. You are such a brilliant Knight! Ah! You really are your papa's boy!"

"Say what you wanna say already, okay? I'm busy here." Lance snapped. "Why would you wanna meet me anyway? Seriously, why, dad?"

"*sigh* The King and I had been discussing about this before you're born, my son. He told me that you, Lancelot Richmond, should..."

"Should what, dad?" Lance asked Cuthbert curiously.

"...should marry the Princess after you grew up. The date of the wedding and coronation of the Princess was planned. And King Halbert and I had signed an agreement, so the wedding is   final. You have to marry the Princess a few months later. You have no choice."

Lance couldn't believe his ears. Is his father serious?

"Dad, don't fool around with me, okay? There are tons of Princesses out there. Are you really talking about Macy Halbert?" Lance asked to make sure that Cuthbert is serious about this.

Lance had been thinking about his crush on Macy for a while. He eventually decided to let go and let Clay be with her instead. But this shocking news his father delivered to him just now is such a sudden. He didn't know what to say. He loved Macy, and marrying her is his dream. But Clay? What about Clay? Clay loved her too! How would he feel if Lance told him about this? Lance has to make sure that Cuthbert isn't joking.

"I am very, very serious about this, Lancelot Richmond. And no excuses. You must marry the Princess and become the new King of Knighton. Understood?" Cuthbert said as he left the place, leaving Lance alone in the empty room of the King's castle.

Lance was speechless. He decided to tell Clay about this immediately. But as he walked out of the room, he was even shocked to see Clay standing right in front of him.

"Lancelot Richmond." Clay called his full name.

Everybody knows that if Clay calls someone by their full name, they're in trouble.

"W-W-What is it, Clay?" Lance asked him, looking very frightened at his serious and furious look.

"You have some explaining to do." Clay said angrily with his arms on his waist.

It was at this moment that Lance knew, he was DOOMED.
