About two decades ago, at King Halbert's castle...
"Ay, Halbert. It's such a wonderful day to be invited to your castle. Why exactly did you invite me?"
"Oh, well, Cuthbert...how's your wife?"
"Huh?" Cuthbert replied. "Oh, she's fine. Lance is doing well in her belly. Heh heh heh... How 'bout your Queen, Halbert?"
"Oh," King Halbert said. "She's doing great. But, I haven't named my daughter yet, tho."
"How 'bout... Laurel?" Cuthbert suggested.
"Nah..." King Halbert refused. "Any other ideas?"
"Brittania? Abbey? Marcie?" Cuthbert suggested again.
"Macy!" King Halbert finally had an idea. "I'll choose Macy! Since that's my Queen choice of name-short and easy to remember. "
"Yeah," Cuthbert agreed. "Oh! We totally went out of topic! I was asking you about the reason why you invited me here. "
"Oh, yes! Well..." King Halbert thought for a while. "Umm... Cuthbert, my friend, I would want to ask you a question, and it's sincere. "
"Okay, Halbert." Cuthbert replied. "Ask be anything you want to ask, Your Majesty. "
"Okay, well... I was wondering if our children would..."
King Halbert then whispered into Cuthbert's ear as the Richmond nodded his head, agreeing about something only known between the two of them.
"Why, that's a brilliant idea, Halbert! I'd love to accept your offer. Did you bring your paper?"
"Yes, indeed. Here's the pen. You may sign your name here, Mr. Richmond. "
Cuthbert gently took the pen off King Halbert's hand and signed his name on the paper he prepared for him.
I wonder what kind of agreement are they making... It just seems so suspicious, and only him and King Halbert knew about it. Maybe Queen Halbert and Goldie Richmond knew about it too, after some time...

Macy was recalling this in her mind that day, while she was sitting on the sofa. Her dad had told her about this that morning and she couldn't believe that her father made this agreement with Lance's father, his childhood BFF.
Macy shook her head as she walked towards the main hall of the fortrex and saw only Merlok, as Robin and Ava were taking a break. Macy sat next to Merlok as they talked.
"Merlok, there is something I want to tell you. But you shouldn't tell anyone else, promise?" she called him.
"I promise, my child." Merlok replied. "Tell me anything. "
Macy whispered into Merlok's ear as he listened attentively. Then, he felt shocked as he heard the important parts.
"Really?" Merlok asked her to make sure that what she told him is real. "I don't know about this..."
"This secret is between the Richmond and the Halbert family, but even Lance doesn't know about this."
"Didn't his father tell him about this? What would he feel? What do you feel?" Merlok asked the Princess Knight.
"I feel...forced. I just don't know what to do now..." Macy sighed.
"I promise I'll keep it as a secret between us, Macy, while I figure out a way to solve this problem." Merlok said. "But this is going to be hard, as this is an agreement between your father and Lance's. "
"Yeah... Anyway, thanks for your help, Merlok." Macy said as she went back to her room.
"Ah, my child..." Merlok sighed. "So lack of freedom... But what could I do about this? I wasn't involved, and I SHOULDN'T be involved either! This is going to be a hard job, a hard job indeed..."
