To all my readers,

This is not a continuation of the special chapter. :) I just want to thank all of you for supporting Ryu and Mara's love story. Words are not enough to express my gratitude, guys. I am really overwhelmed by your extraordinary support. I never expected this story to reach 40K plus reads in less than three months. When I wrote this story, a newbie on watty that I am, all I was praying for was for this to reach 5K reads in two months so it would be worth the effort. I never thought it would be 8 times more than I prayed for. :) So please allow me to say, watashi no kokoro kara, doumo arigatou gozaimashita (from the bottom of my heart, thank you very much).

I will be uploading Yuuki no Hana BOOK 2 in August. I hope you will also support it. Jaa, mata ne. :)

Thanks, thanks, thanks!!!

P.S. The places in this story - the names of the restaurants, malls, train stations, cities, shrines, universities to name a few are real. The tunnel where Keisuke caught Mara and the Asahi Guesthouse also exist. They are, indeed close to JR Suita station. I also pass by that tunnel every Sunday when I go to Suita church. The only places that are figments of my imagination are Sakura Senior High School and Meiji Senior High School. However, there is really a school named Meiji Gakuin Senior High School. This is affiliated with Meiji Gakuin University, a Christian university in Tokyo. I just dropped Gakuin from the name. When I thought about a name for Sakura's rival school in baseball, I remember  Meiji, one of my favorite chocolate brands - thus, the name. :)

The "love stones" in Jishu Jinja (Jishu Shrine) are also real. Visitors can try to walk between the two stones with their eyes closed or covered with a blindfold. If they successfully cross from one stone to another, it is believed that they will find true love. :)

I wrote this note for those who were asking me about the places mentioned in the book. :)

YUUKI NO HANA (Flower of Courage) is a KATTUN song. They sang it for the March 11, 2011 victims of tsunami. It is one of my favorite songs...
