Chapter 6

"My heart was made to be broken."
🌹🌹🌹

I stepped out of the hospital and walked towards a park nearby. I sat in a bench and closed my eyes slowly.

"I killed her. I killed your mother."

That words keep linger on my mind, like a broken radio.
It couldn't be possibly happend. Eventhough my parents were divorced since long time ago, my father will never do such a thing.
I thought for a second and sighed,

He lost his mind.

I opened my eyes, letting out a big breathe as i felt the wind greets my face. The weather is pretty much cold today, thank god i always wore sweaters these days.

As i enjoyed musing and thinking a lot of thoughts, i took a quick glance on my phone, knowing now it's 3 p.m in the afternoon.

I should go back before 5, or else i will die. Knowing that, i smiled in pain.

I'm not ready yet. I'm not ready to face reality again. I want to stay in here as long as possible, alone.

I looked up in the sky, praying for my father and talking to my mother up there. I missed my mother a lot. I missed my family.

I rushed towards the elevator with my grocery bags as my heart pounding so fast. I gulped a lot of times, getting scared and worried because it's 6 p.m and i felt like i'm already dead by now.

Stupid me.

Standing infront of his door, i quickly type his apartment password and come in slowly. Before i could close the door, his voice already pierced into my ears,

"Where were you?"

I turned around as i saw him, standing up, resting his body on the kitchen table while he take a sip of his wine.

I quickly froze and my mouth can't talk, I grasped on my grocery bags as hard as i could and shifted my gaze on the floor. My heart was pounding so fast i could hear them loud all over my body.

I heard he put his glass down and started to walked towards me. He's now infront of me, crossing his arms as i felt he was staring at me furiously.

"I asked, where were you?!" he yelled.

Huge fear started to wrap around me as i mumbled, 

"I'm sorry i-"

"I just finished buying groceries, i need to buy ingredients for your lunch tomorrow." i finished my sentence with one quick breathe.

He let out a small laugh as he grabbed my face roughly, my cheeks are in pain because of his grasping. My body is trembling in fear, his voice gave my body shudder, hard.

He stared at me, and I quickly closed my eyes to avoid it.

"Lies."

I grasp the handle of my grocery bag harder as my body started to shiver.
