Deanna's Point of View

Days had passed, Ricci is still playing with the Gilas Cadets, and yes he accepted the offer. I'm so proud of him. ❤

I was on my way to the Filoil Arena together with Julia. "So UP ah." Julia started. "Yeah, it'll work right? I mean our relationship?" I asked. "Yes dude. That's you and Ricci. You can still work it out. You're my otp!!" She said.

"What's otp?" I asked confused. "One true pair. I love both of you so you have to work it out!" She said while driving. "I should stop thinking about negative thoughts." I said and she nodded.

When we arrived at the arena, we sit at the back of Gilas' bench so he can see us immediately. They were still warming up and I was actually focusing on him, thinking of how we can work this out. I know it's still in Katipunan, but the difference is both of our schedule.

We'll have to adjust with our schedule. He's waving at me and I smiled back. He then ran up to me. "Babe! You came! Thank you!" He said while hugging me. "Of course. It's you eh. I love watching you play." I said. "Even if I'll wear maroon next season?" He said smiling. "Of course! I'll still support you!" I said. "That's my babe. Okay, I'll go na. The game is about to start. I love you!" He shouted, so of course some of his fans looked at us. "I love you too!" I said and sending him a flying kiss.

"Nako. Akala mo naman kaganda. Eh hindi nga nag-aayos ng sarili." I heard someone said. I saw Ricci stops for a while, maybe he heard it also?

"Tignan mo, Atenista lang yan eh. Hindi naman kagandahan."

"Siya ba yung setter ng Ateneo? Luh. Maputi lang."

"Hindi sila bagay ni Ricci! Sobrang gwapo ni Ricci para sa kanya."

"Babe, don't be bothered okay? It's part of being Ricci's girlfriend. Huh? Always remember, Ricci loves you so much." Julia said squeezing me. "Yes, I know that. I'm not that actually hurt. We cannot please every one naman eh." I answered smiling at her.

The game has started and I stayed quiet all through out the game. I clap every time they got a point but not that too much. I'm so proud of my cadet ❤

When the game ended, we hastily went to the dug-out to see Ricci. He already freshen up so we decided to have dinner near San Juan.

Julia left us for the two of us to have quality time together, she said. While we were eating, I can't ignore Ricci staring at me. "Babe, is there a problem?" I asked. "Nothing. I just love staring at you." He said grinning. "You finish your meal first!" I said and blushing for sure.

He dropped me off to Julia's condo and he kisses me good bye.

I woke up with a loud volume from the television. I saw Ricci seating at the couch watching FRIENDS. "Good morning babe." I said removing my morning dew. "Sorry, did I wake you up?" He asked worried. "No, it's fine. Did you eat breakfast already?" I asked fixing the bed. "Not yet, I'm actually waiting for you. I'll cook for you." He said.

I can notice how sweet he is these past few days. Is there something bothering him? Maybe about UP? Or it can be about our time for each other?

He's cooking my favorite breakfast, his special scrambled egg. He's so hot with that apron doe. "Babe, what's with you?" I asked, it really bothers me. "What do you mean?" He asked too. "You're so sweet these past few days eh. Is there something wrong?" I asked.

"Ah. Actually, I just want to spend more days with you. It's because for sure we will be having different schedules next academic year. So, might as well spend the rest of my summer vacation with you." He explains. "Babe we'll be fine. I promise. We can work it out. I've been thinking about it too, but I know, I can feel it that it won't end just like that. Understand? I love you." I said kissing his cheek. "Sorry it's just that I kept thinking about it. I love you too so much." He said and kisses me damn hard. I can't resist so I kissed him back.

We both stop when we smell the burning egg. Oops. We both laugh at the same time. "I love it." I said. "What is? He asked. "That kiss." I said smiling. He kissed me once more and we prepare the dishes and eat.

"Uh... Babe, I have to tell you something. I think you should know this." I started while we are doing the dishes. He looked at me instead. "Tita Abi actually asked me to persuade you moving to UP." I sheepishly said. "What?!" He yelled and stopped moving. "I mean, I thought about it for a while and I realized that it's for your future. I don't have the right to stop you being a Fighting Maroon. You have the opportunity so you have to grab it." I said.

"No. I know. I'm just teasing you. Mom told me about it. And she said it's so thoughtful of you to let me choose my priority first over you." Yes. I do understand. I won't let him choose between me and his future. Of course he must definitely pick and decide for his future first. I'll always be here beside him, be his number one supporter and I'll be the greatest fan girl of his life.

Ricci's Point of View

We're having our game against San Beda. While we are warming up, I saw familiar faces on the crowd. I ran up to them and greeted them.

I hugged Deanna and Julia. They were supportive and all to both of us, me and Kuya Prince. As I was about to go back inside the court, I heard someone saying, "Nako. Akala mo naman kaganda. Eh hindi nga nag-aayos ng sarili."

I wanted to talk to that person who said it. But I don't want to have controversial thing going on with the fans. So when I got back home, I tweet instead.

Learn to respect.

I got a lot of response but I ignore them. It hurts me a lot, that people cannot accept my girlfriend. Do I have to please them to accept Deanna? Hella no. I will never do that. They must respect Deanna and I'm all good. Hate me all they want about my relationship with Deanna, I don't care.

The next morning, I invited Deanna to have a date with me. We went to a theme park together and luckily there were few people inside. "Babe! I have vertigo why did you brought me here?" She asked, and that I totally forgot. "Shoot. I forgot!" I said. "Do you really want to have a date here? Don't worry it's tolerable." She said. But I'm now worried, what if she just said it for her not to spoil this day?

"Are you sure? I mean we can have another date somewhere." I said making sure. "Yes, yes. But let's try to avoid the delicates." She said. "Really sure?" I asked once more. "Yes babe. I am sure." She said and pulls me inside the park.

We tried the Flying Fiesta, the Carousel, (which is by the way just for Instagram pictures), the Rio Grande, and a lot more that Deanna can handle.

We took over the night inside the theme park and we decided to have dinner inside instead. I took lots of pictures of her so that I could look hard on it before sleeping. It sounds creepy to others but for me it's romantic.

"Babe, thank you for today. I had fun. It was a blast babe!" She said kissing me on my cheek. "As long as I make you smile, I'll do everything for you." I said and steal a kiss from her lips. She covered her mouth and looked around if anybody sees us, and she started punching me facetiously.

We arrived safely in Jul's condo. She's there with Mark and I looked at her suspiciously. "We're good. Nothing happened." Juls defends.

"Defensive amputik." Deanna mumbles. "That's Juls for me." I said. Then she started packing up her necessities for our trip in Korea. Juls and Mark's boarding is tonight at 11 PM, and we will drive them to the airport.

"Excited much? 2 days from now will be your flight right? Why are you packing so early?" Juls asked. "I'm busy tomorrow. I don't have time." Deanna excused, but for all I know, she's just too excited.

So, we dropped them off to the airport. Deanna stayed at Juls' condo so I stayed for a while until she fell asleep.
