Andrea's POV

"Have you checked the list?" I asked my Assistant Manager

"yes, Mam and unfortunately naubusan po tayo ng slots in gaining their partnership.." she said

naglalakad kami sa hallway papunta sa office ko, galing kasi kami sa meeting with my team and I have some problems..marami akong na-missed na trabaho

"how about the companies that we had? nag-back out ba sila? we just missed one meeting tapos ganyan na agad" naiinis kong sabi

"Actually Mam out of our ten official partners apat po ung umalis..Mam, hindi lang din po kasi basta meeting un..parang meeting of the century un"

pagpasok ko ng office nakita ko si Dayle na prenteng nakaupo sa couch habang nagbabasa

naupo ako sa swivel chair and scan some papers, "okay. just email me everything. you can leave"

"sure Mam" then she left

I held my temples and gahd! i'm so stressed..muli kong hinubad ung stiletto ko and my blazer

"calm down. take a deep breath" he said while reading a book

"how can I do that?! nakaka-stress" singhal ko then he looked at me

"simula pa lang yan and there will be more sooner or later" wow! nakatulong siya, grabe..

*tok tok tok*

"come in" I said tapos the door opened at niluwa nun si cactus

"Mam the board chairman and committees are calling you for conference meeting" she said

ughhhh! "okay. susunod na ko" without any words umalis na rin agad si cactus. tsk mabuti naman kasi I dont wanna see her face

sinuot ko ulit ung stiletto ko at blazer then I fixed myself, "are you coming?" I asked him as I was approaching the door

"yup" then he stood up and followed me

pagpasok namin sa conference room nagbabangayan sila, I dont even know why

I sat on Kuya's seat tapos tumabi sakin si Dayle, "what's happening?" I coldly asked them, natahimik sila at isa isa nila akong sinagot. They even explain to me everything and even showed me a powerpoint presentation.

and after awhile, "that would be all Ms. Andrea" sabi nung acting speaker

"so, ano gusto niyong gawin?" I asked for their opinions or suggestions, "so our issues here are: 1. Company Improvement and Solutions - problem is ung partnerships
2. Company Project in Vancouver - financial loss
3. Employee Management/Manpower - additional employees for every projects
4. Missed out Partnerships - wasnt able to attend the meeting of the century..." hinampas ko ung lamesa tsaka ako tumayo, "yan lang ba ung issues na pinaglalaban niyo sakin?!" singhal ko, naramdaman kong hinawakan ako ni Dayle pero hindi ako nagpa-tinag

lumapit ako sa harapan, "if you were going to mock me with this...pushing such lowly alibis then just shut up. pinapamukha niyo kasi sakin that missing that fcking meeting is literally the company's loss kahit hindi naman" galit kong sabi sa kanila, "is this how Kuya taught you? its not that I'm questioning his hardworks here pero kasi sa nakikita ko, we dont have any competence. parang ang lumalabas, we are relying to our partners' plans and actions which is hindi naman dapat. Look, hindi tayo ang dapat naghahabol sa kanila. In fact tayo ang dapat na hinahabol nila, tayo ang gumagawa ng building nila for their own sake; in short tayo ang source nila in building up their businesses at kapag wala tayo, wala din sila" nakita ko namang tila sumasang-ayon sila sakin, "for now, we dont have to worry that much...we should focus first how are we going to be competent in dealing out this fcking issues. Lets take this slow and mind you, stop comparing me with your previous boss 'cause Im way much more different from him. Email to me your proposals and dapat within this week, matapos lahat ng trabaho. Understood?!"
