Chapter twenty-one

Andrea's POV

Kinabukasan maaga akong umalis ng bahay at dumiresto sa office, everyone greeted me and seemed excited to speak to me kasi nga ang daming pending na trabaho

"so? how's everything?" I asked while facing the board members

"good thing Ms. Garcia, the partners still stayed with us. They didn't withdraw the contract" sabi nung Manager

"good, any other concerns?" I asked while scanning some papers

''Ms. Garcia, how about the filed cases?" the Team Leader asked

I looked at her, oo nga pala, I filed cases dun sa mga partners even if nag-sign na sila ng contract samin, "just get a hold of that, we'll talk about it again once they backfire or do something weird in our company. For now, just give me the reports needed for the next company assembly. Make sure you have all the informations of the representatives and companies who'll be attending the event and make sure that there will be no problem. Just approach me if you need anything" sabi ko at lumabas na ng conference room, pabalik na sana ako ng office ko nang matanaw ko si Dayle na kalalabas lang ng elevator

nagkatinginan kami pero agad din akong nag-iwas, I stopped in front of the other elevator and clicked the button going up, "meeting's done?" he asked

"yeah" tipid kong sagot then the elevator door opened, pumasok ako tapos sumunod siya

"you didnt call or text me. hindi ka rin nagpaalam kanina" he said pero hindi ako umimik, we reached the floor where my office is

tahimik lang akong pumasok sa office at naupo sa swivel chair ko habang siya nakasunod lang, parang nagpapakiramdaman kami. Binuksan ko na lang ung laptop ko to check emails, nang isara niya ito kaya napatingin ako sa kanya

"anong problema?" he asked

"wala" sabi ko tapos inopen ko ulit ung laptop but then he closed it again

"ano nga?! are you shy again? are you mad?" he asked

"no" inis kong sabi tapos tumayo ako at pumunta sa shelves ng folders naramdaman kong sumunod siya

hinawakan niya ko sa braso ko at iniharap sa kanya, "then why are you acting like this? may nangyari ba?"

inalis ko ang pagkakahawak niya sakin, "wala akong problema. pwede ba Dayle, mind your own business" then bumalik na ko sa swivel chair ko at naupo ulit

''is this about Ethan? galit ka ba na nagkita kayo?" bakit ba ang kulit niya?! tanong siya ng tanong?!

tinignan ko siya, "get back to work please" then I focused with my laptop again

pumunta naman siya sa may table ko at naupo sa swivel chair niya, hindi pa rin pala nababago ung pwesto namin dito

"bakit hindi ka nagpakuha ng table mo?!" I asked while typing

"I dont need it" sabi niya habang nagbabasa

*tok tok*

"come in" sabi niya, napatingin ako sa may pintuan tapos bumukas ito at pumasok si...Mich?!
