River Pov

When I got home I found a note from my dad on the fridge.

River

I have a late meeting. I'll be home by 10pm. There are some leftovers in the fridge

love dad:)

I would of thought that he would wait a bit before working again. You see dads a lawyer so he's out at meetings a lot. What can I say he loves his job and bills dont pay themselves.

I made myself some noodles and plonked myself in front of the tv. Time for some supernatural. I love this show! The brothers are so hot and funny even though they are fighting weird unnatural things. My phone buzzed giving me a fright. After I recovered from my mini heart attack. I read my text message

*Hey V! I'm having a party at my house. You should come join

I mentally groaned. Damn this girl annoys me. I'm sure Gregory will be at the party and I dont feel like facing him yet. Not after what happened. I began to think about that power I felt in the pit of my stomach and how I managed to fling Gregory across the room. Denting the lockers in the process. At that time I felt so powerful, like I could do anything. I dismissed these thoughts after realizing my head was pounding.

I switched everything off then headed upstairs. I put some cold water on my face making me feel better. I put on some sweatpants and a tank top. I then crawled into bed and immediately fell asleep.

I was walking through a forest. "Rrrriiivvvveeerrrr", someone called out. It sounded like my mother. I ran in the direction of the voice. I saw a beautiful woman smiling at me. My mom. "You must accept him Riri". What the hell was she talking about. She smiled,"you will understand one day". With that being said she walked away. "Mom!No come back!". I ran after her but soon she vanished. "MOM!"

I woke up abruptly with a layer of sweat on my forehead and tears on my face. I went to the bathroom and splashed some water on my face. I then walked back to my room and found my balcony doors open. Huh strange, I swear I closed them before I went to bed. I went and peered outside but saw no one. I shut the doors then crawled back into bed.

In the morning I had a quick shower. I got dressed in dark blue dress (up to my mind thighs), black stockings and black combat boots. I put my hair in a messy bun and put some lip gloss on. I grabbed my bag and headed down stairs.

Thinking about my dream made me lose my appetite and so I grabbed a granola bar and headed out.

"Hey Ri, how was your first day?" I must of been engrossed in my thoughts because I had not seen my dad at the kitchen table. "It was great dad. I made new friends", he smiled. "Good. I heard you were asked to join the track team. You should join, it will give you something to do". Crap, I smiled "sure dad bye love you". He shouted the same.

I rushed to get into my car because it was raining. I started my 10 minute trip to school. Once I was half way there my car broke down. I let out a whole bunch of curse words that I wouldn't repeat in front of my dad. I didn't want to call dad because he was most likely at work already. Great ,I had nobody that I want to call for help. Looks like I was stuck out here until someone comes by.

After about 10 minutes a black motorcycle came up and parked in front of me. The person took of their helmet and I realized it was a guy. He turned around to face me and the blood left my face. Aahh crap!Did it have to be him.
