River pov

The trees along the pathway were decorated in little lights. The pathway leading to the lake were decorated in rose petals.

I followed the petals and turned a corner. What I saw literally made my heart skip a beat.

There was a table for two which had rose petals and panda bears all over. "I....I love it!!!", he chuckled.

Pandas are my favourite animal!

We sat down and people began to serve us. I chuckled. We were eating chicken burgers, chips and coke."I saw how you were eying your lunch today Ri. When you took a bite you looked like you were having an orgasm", I blushed a deep red shade.

He chuckled at my reaction. We ate and joked around. Once we were done he lead us to the lake and we sat on a blanket. "Lets play twenty questions", Luka said. I nodded, "you start Lu". I waited for his question. "What is your favourite colour? ", well thats easy. "Light blue and you?". "Forest green", well that's understandable. We asked a few typical questions and then came to the intense stuff

"What's like being an angel?". Wow didn't expect that one."I cant really tell you yet. I'll only know on my 18th birthday which is next week. So I'll let you know then. What's like being an alpha?". He sighed."Stressful. Cant help but worry that I'll get people killed". I felt the honesty from those words.

We spent the rest of the evening laughing and joking around. Then it began to rain. I couldn't run in heels so Luka carried me. We got into the car all wet and laughing.

When we got home he walked me to my bedroom door."Do you want to come in?". I blushed realizing what it implied. He chuckled and walked into my room. It was a mess from me getting ready earlier. I grabbed a towel and ushered him into the bathroom for him to change.

I went to my closet and dried up there. I put on an oversized shirt that reaches my mid-thigh. I began to clean while I waited for Luka. Once I was done I turned around and found Luka watching me.

He was dressed in sweatpants and.......Well that's it. I could see all the muscles on his upper body.

I'm surprised that I wasn't drooling!

His eyes turned a dark blue indicating that his wolf has taken over."Luka y-you should-". He had me pinned against the wall before I knew it. Knocking the wind out of me in the process.

"You should stop biting your lip angel". I didnt realize that I was doing it. He trailed kisses along my jaw."Leave L-Luka". He chuckled, sending shivers through my body. "You dont want me to leave honey. You see if we don't mate you will go into heat".He began to purr."What is ' going into heat'? " I asked nervously.

He kissed my mark making me moan. Shit!

"It means that.... you'll become a sex craved angel. It means that you'll want me and I'll want you. I'll want you more because I'm a wolf". he smirked."This all happens if a woman does not mate after being marked over a certain amount of time.

Why do I always end up in the deep end!

"Luka you should leave." Even though I didn't want him to. My body craved his touch. He trailed kisses along my neck making me whimper. I'm losing control here!

I focused all my energy and then let it out. Flinging Luka across the room and into a wall. Knocking him unconscious. Looks like practices with Josh has payed off.

"Josh! I need help", I shouted out. I hope Josh could hear me. I walked slowly towards Luka. Next thing I was flung onto the bed. " Now that wasn't nice angel. Anyway where were we?"

Before he could get to me five men barged into my room and managed to drag a livid Luka.

Josh walked in."L-luna im sorry but you can no longer be alone with him......You have gone into heat".
