River pov

I am currently in Luka's kitchen eating chocolate cake. Yes I was serious about wanting chocolate cake. I mean sprouting wings and learning vital information makes a girl crave chocolate cake. So when I got home I showered and came down for the cake Luka bought for me.

In the beginning I didn't want to share but ended up giving everyone some cake. Selfish I know but I deserve the cake.

"Happy birthday twins", Josh said while wacking us on the head. Oh I forgot that it's our birthday. Who could blame me I have had a rough day. Luka kissed me on my cheek. I shivered. Damn I missed him so much! Everyone looked tense. I don't know why considering the angels were doing patrol. We are well protected.

That's it I cant take the tension anymore. "Alright Ryan and I want a party today. We are going shopping. Party at 6". I grabbed my purse and slops. I dragged Ryan and left. I heard Josh mutter that Luka has his hands filled with me.

"Ok Ry here we are. Split up take my card. Meet up at the car".

I have spent 2 hours searching and was getting tired. I saw a cute little dress shop. My last resort. I entered and found it to be quiet empty. I began searching the racks. Just when i was going to give up,my eyes laid on the most beautiful dress.

It was dark blue and lace.It had long sleeves and came up to my mid-thigh. It was a tight dress. Grrrr Luka will love this. I got some black wedges. Once I was done paying I headed out to the car. I found a very bored looking Ryan.

"Shheesh sis all those hours for one bag", I punched him on his shoulder. He had about 10 bags."WTF Ry did you buy the whole store"? We got into the car and headed home.

"Hey Ryan. Did you ever meet mom and dad"?

"I met mom she would visit. But I didn't meet dad." He said sadly

"We'll call dad tomorrow", I assured him.

I was dying to hear dads voice. I wonder if he knew about Ryan and angels. I wonder if he's my real dad. No! I dismissed the idea quickly.

When we got home it was 3 so I decided to chill for a bit in my room. I went up and found a bunch of roses on my bed. I began to read the card attached to it.

What the hell. I turned around and found a smiling Luka. He was dressed in baggies and a vest yet he still looked delicious.

"Luka wh-'. He held up a finger to silence me.

"River I'm sorry I didn't protect you. I'm sorry I wasn't there. Your my mate,my soul mate". He began to walk to me. I was frozen. "That's why I wanted to give you this-". He pulled out a ring!.OMG I'm going to faint!

"It's a promise ring. I promise to protect you, take care of you,listen to you.River I love you".He breathed out the last past. I was on the brink of tears. I mean my heart fell when I realized it wasn't an engagement but this is all too sweet. He slipped the ring on my right middle finger. I took a good look at it. It was silver and had an infinity sign. It fit perfectly.

"Happy bir- omf", I cut him off by squeezing the life out of him in a hug."I love you Luka,my alpha".I kissed him pouring my emotions into it. He deepened the kiss and lay us on the bed. I pushed him off and he landed on the floor. He growled. "I have to get ready".

As soon as he left I took a shower and scrubbed myself. I used some mango flavoured shampoo. I got out then dried myself and put some black lace lingerie on. I then curled my hair. Once I was done and happy with it I began my makeup. I put black mascara and eyeliner. Then nude lipstick. I pinched my cheeks to make them rosy. I slipped into my dress and heels. I looked in the mirror and have to say I loved it. The dress hugged me in the right places.

"Sis you look beautiful". I looked over and found my twin in dark jeans and a blue buttoned up shirt. His shirt matched my dress."Ryan is it always going to be like this"? I motioned between our clothing. I burst into a fit if giggles when he looked shocked. I put my ring on then dragged Ryan out."Ryan I'm going to show you how we party here on earth".

We were lead to the hall behind the pack house. Music was blazing and people were dancing and drinking."Wow", Ryan breathed out. I laughed and pushed him to go have fun. Luka came out of no where. He was dressed in dark jeans a white buttoned up top and dark blazer.

Yummy!

"River you look.... wow. You look incredible". I blushed. I deagged him to the dance floor and we began to dance the night away.

Tonight I am not River an angel who will lead heaven into a war against hell. No! Tonight I am River, a girl celebrating her birthday,finding her brother and having a mate!

We all spent the night drinking,dancing and most importantly having fun.

I just want this chapter to be stress free for everyone. it may be boring but its still sweet so sshh.

Im going to make a second book for this hey. The book will be based on the war. I'm thinking of calling it 'Heavenly twin chaos'. What do you think? if you have a better name send me a message in my inbox. can't read comments for some reason.
