I was walking through a forest. "Riri! ", I ran to the direction of my mothers voice and came into a clearing. Just like my previous dreams. I saw my mom in the middle of the clearing.

"Mom what is happening to me?What are those things?" I felt tears streaming down my face. She walked over to me and wiped my tears away. "It's starting. You know what they are."

I guess I knew what they were but just couldn't admit it.

"Riri your powers are developing. On your 18th birthday your powers will fully develop. Sweety you're an angel,just like I was".What is she talking about.

Aaaauuuuuu. Shit not this again. "I dont have much time Ri. Trust Luka and only him. Don't let anyone else know what you are. Trust your gut and remember that I love you". My mom started running away and the red-eyed wolves chased her. "Mom no!".

My eyes fluttered open. When I looked around I saw a whole bunch of people in the room. Luka rushed to my side. "Oh god!Are you ok?You have been out for 3 days". WHAT?!

"My dad? " I croaked. "He's fine. He called to let you know that he will be gone for a month. Some business trip". Great trust my dad to leave when I need him! Everyone in the room began to bombard me with questions. It was all giving me a headache. Luka noticed and told them to all leave at once. Once they left I felt better.

I got up and went to the bathroom. I washed my face with cold water and felt better. I walked back to the bedroom and realized that it's Luka's room.

He had a huge bed in the middle of the room, walk in closet, laptop on the desk and blue walls. It all looks very neat. Some how it suited him. I spotted Luka on his bed staring at me like I was going to run away.

"So Luka.....when were you going to tell me that you're a werewolf? " I said teasingly. He looked at me in pure shock. I burst out laughing. Once my laughter died down I looked at him. He was slightly blushing. Aaaww!!!!!! Focus River.

"Look River I was going to tell you. I just didn't know how". I waved him off,"what happened after I passed out"? I asked while plonking myself next to him on the bed. "I brought you here and you have been out if it ever since. River what happened out there?"

That's when everything came rushing back to me about what my mom said."Well I dont know how to say this but ummm.. I'm an angel". He burst into a fit of laughter. What the hell! "What's so funny? you can accept being a dog but dont believe me when I say im an angel",I huffed. That's when he realised that I was serious. "The proper term is werewolf not dog."We smiled at each other

"Oh you cant tell anyone Luka". He studied me," that's why they are after you. So the legends are true". He was clearly talking to himself. "What legends?"

I seriously need to start liking normal boys."Legends about angels and their existence. They are the most powerful supernatural being. They control all 4 elements, they can fly and sense danger. Wow they are real and I'm mates with one of them".

What?!Mates?! So he only thought of us as friends. I sighed inwardly. Lets face it I didn't stand a chance.

"Earth to River", I must of dozed off. "Yeah im glad to be friends with a werewolf. " The sarcasm clearly dripping from my words. "No River that's not what mates-", he was cut off by some shouting and shuffling down stairs. He rushed down stairs with me hot on his tail.

We found a whole bunch of people huddled in the lounge by a broken window. "Alpha someone threw this rock in. We tried tracking them but lost the trail", Josh said while looking at Luka. I'm guessing alpha is the top dog. I laugh inwardly at my pun. Yup im losing it.

There was a note on the rock. Luka opened it. In scrawny writing it said:
