CHAPTER 30: Apocalypse

Aubrey wasn't dead yet. Beca just shoot her on her nonfatal body part and very far from her organs so it won't harm her, it's just to shut her up and purposely hurt her.

As soon as Beca came to the ambulance where Amy, Emily and Lilly was, she almost fell on the ground in so much exhaustion and blood that she was losing but Emily caught her. The tall brunette helped Beca to go inside the next ambulance and there she was sleeping until they came to the hospital.

Beca didn't notice it because she passed out like she was a low battery machine, she was brought to the emergency room and gave her first aids.

Amy and Emily went to where was Chloe, it was just the divider that separating Beca and Chloe though. She's already dressed with hospital gown and still sedated as they stitch and cover her wounds. While Jessica on the other divider with Cynthia Rose and Lilly securing her. She passed out when the mafia defuser came, her body became numb after a long time of being hanging upsidedown.

Maddie came in and pulled the hem of Emily's shirt. Emily looked down on her. "Hey little carrot, what's up?"

"They told me im not allowed here. Also you said you're going to buy me ice cream, right?" Maddie grinned at her. Emily snorted and lifted her up.

"Sure."

Emily told Amy she's going outside with Maddie and she let them. Maddie brought her bag with her in case.

They went to the nearest convenience store and bought ice cream there. The convenience store has no people inside apart from the cashiers, maybe because it's late.

"I want the charcoal one!" Maddie excitedly squeal as she saw Emily took the cup.

"Alright, get your snack over there. 3 items only." Emily said and Maddie ran over the area of chips.

"Can I take biggest one?"

"Sure, just make sure you will going to eat all of that." Emily said and the little kid nodded.

Maddie took her favorite cheesy dorito and two kinds of dairy milk with no almonds. She hate almonds.

She then ran towards the cashier area and Emily paid their bills.

As soon as the items were paid, Maddie ran again towards the empty table. She stood up over the chair and tried to open the chip.

Emily didn't took the change and just proceed to the table where Maddie was.

"Did my daddy call you already?" Maddie asked as she grabbed her ice cream cup. Emily shook her head and ate her own ice cream. "Okay."

"Do you have any question?"

"Yah!" Maddie giggled.

Emily knew those quirky giggles. "What is it?"

"How old is Chloe?"

"I think she's already 24 like your aunt Aubrey." Emily answered.

"Ah, that's why." Maddie nodded suggestively. Emily frowned.

"What?"

"She has bigger boobs than you." She giggled that made Emily's face flushed and tried to snatch her ice cream in return. "Joke!" She raised her two fingers while laughing.

"My boobs has nothing to do with her, you know." Emily rolled her eyes. "And why are you looking at her boobs anyway?"

"I saw it earlier and you're always with me when you're shampooing my hair, duh. So I thought about differences."
