CHAPTER 24: Leery

#CHAPTER 24

Special shout out to Sandara Casuga, (idk ur username) WencyTecson who I talked too this past few days! Yay! It's more fun to talk to these guys about the possible plot than to my friends who's keeping on bugging me about the update loljk iloveyouguys!

Chloe woke up with her arms aching a lot. She groaned as she tried to move her arms. She looked at it and it was casted. She looked around and saw Beca sleeping on her side, Jessica on the couch and Emily on the other couch.

She tried to think of what happened but her head aches a lot that made her hard to think straight. She's bruised and she thinks her jaw was also bruised on how hard she moves it.

She groaned again but this time Beca woke up on its sound. Beca scratched her eyes but widened immediately when she saw Chloe's awake.

"Chloe, Chloe don't move. Please." Beca said as she stood up and held Chloe's hand.

"W-What happened?" Chloe whimpered again as she spoke. Beca bit her own lips as she witnessed Chloe's struggle. It's not the way she wants to see Chloe's struggle. It affects her so much.

"You…" Beca swallowed. "You jumped on a moving car. That's why you're aching… you got your left arm, left ribs and left leg broken—but it's just severe. They also removed the bullet on your leg. You just need to have a rest for 2 weeks."

"What? I can't stay here for that long—fuck." Chloe whimpered again when she tried to move her legs. She could now remember everything that happened between Justin and her. She could remember everything he said to her. "Oh god, my whole body hurts." She cried.

"I'm so sorry, Chloe." Beca tried to give Chloe a sympathy but the blonde just glared at her.

"It's your fault."

"I know. It's all my fault…"

"I don't need you here."

"I need to secure your safety—

" I said I don't need you here!" Chloe yelled, making Jessica and Emily woke up. "Get the fuck out of my face!"

Beca was taken aback when she heard Chloe's voice. She just stared at her and was about to step back when Emily spoke.

"You're such a bitch you know that?" Emily stated. "Beca—If Beca's not there, you're going to die in blood lost—

"Then she must let me die coz I don't need her." Chloe furiously said and turned to Beca. "I don't need you."

Beca's already crying when she walked away that made Emily wants to walk and slap Chloe but Jessica got on her way. "Even you push her away, you're still in danger. You're just hurting her like what Genesis wants. If you don't like her, then don't! Just wait until we discovered who are they and killed them then you're fucking free! Huh! Did you hear me huh?! You're free to fuck whoever you want!" Emily infuriated and shrugged Jessica off her before following Beca outside.

Chloe wants to wipe her tears but she can't barely move her arms.

"She's right Chloe. You only have to do right now is to stay secured around Beca." Jessica mumbled when she sat on the chair where Beca's sitting a while ago. "You're her weakness at the most so Genesis are targeting you."
