CHAPTER 22: Crude

#CHAPTER 22

It's weekend and Beca had no idea where Chloe's staying at the moment. And she thinks, she didn't go to school today. She tried to call her but it's sending her directly to the voicemail, definitely ignoring her like what she meant for space.

She was now there in Ashley's clubroom with some of the girls. No Lilly and annoying Aubrey at the background.

Ashley and Jessica playing chess as if they aren't fighting before while Flo and Emily playing their phones with Beca. Fat Amy had her laptop on.

"Guys." Fat Amy broke the silence. All of them looked at her except Beca and Emily who seems like they're killing each other in the game they're playing. "My name is Patricia when I was there, but when I wasn't there... what's my name?"

Flo lowered her phone from her face and got the chance to frown at the blondie. "What?"

"Wait." Emily raised her finger while the others continuing to click the screen. Beca's too focus now on her phone while biting her lips.

Few seconds later, Beca threw her hand in the air in enthusiasm while Emily threw her phone but took it immediately and check if it's still okay.

"I think it's still Patricia, you know. Unless you are Chloe who can change her name into Victoria when she... was in Japan—sorry." Flo taken aback when Beca glared at her.

Emily sighed in relief when she recovered her phone. She looked up to Fat Amy and remembered something. "I heard that to Maddie! But she used her name, she didn't tell me the answer coz she wants me to answer it but I couldn't, it's harder than solving how to balance a chemical equation."

"It's Patrca, I mean, P-A-T-R-C-A. No letter 'I'." Ashley answered, she's already holding her gaze to Jessica who's frowning now. Amy just shrugged with a small laugh and went back to her laptop.

"Fuck yeah! It's 'I'! Maddie has it!" Emily exclaimed but no one's paying attention to her. Flo's thinking about something, maybe thinking about if her name has letter I so she could use the ridiculous riddle to her teammates while Beca's trying to text Chloe again. She just leaned in to the couch and looked at Beca. "Anyway, where's Chloe? It's been a while since I saw her." Emily asked, making Jessica coughed and Beca glared at her. "What?"

"They broke up last night." Jessica blurted out, Beca just groaned and leaned to the couch same with Emily. The rest of them widened their eyes. "A serious break up, actually. Like, finally."

Beca suddenly threw a cushion to her making their chess pieces shattered to the floor. "Did you tell her to break up with me?"

"I'm telling her to break up with you almost everyday, if you didn't know." Jessica retorted with a confident voice.

All of the sudden, Beca's already clutching on the collar of Jessica's shirt, pushing her down to the chair. No one dares to stand up and stop them. "Who the hell do you think you are?!—

Beca snapped out but Jessica's fast when she swat Beca's arms off to her and when the brunette loosened her grip, she pulled it onto her back that made Beca spun and also winced when Jessica kicked her knees and she abruptly fell down on her knees. "That's for hurting Chloe."

Beca hissed and turned around in one swift before she gave a quick blow on Jessica's face, making her whimpered at the sudden impact and the table moved. "I didn't intend to hurt her, you bitch!"
