I had a lot of work to do today, which meant that Kurt would have to play on his own but only for today.
"Kurt, buddy, I have a lot of work to do today so you're gonna have to play by yourself, ok?" I tell him as I change his pull up.
"No daddy, wan' wou to pway" he whines.
"I know, bud, I know, but I need to get on" I tell him. We head downstairs and I give him a sippy cup of juice and some snacks in a bowl.
"What do you want to watch?" I ask him. He picks Fireman Sam and so I leave him be once I knew he was settled and ok before getting on with the work I needed to do.

Kurt managed to watch a few episodes of Fireman Sam before he decided to do something to his daddy's attention back. He decided to knock over his bowl of snacks and put on a good cry, making Blaine rush through.
"What's happened, bud?" He asks.
"I 'nacks" he cries as he points to the mess on the table and the floor.
"It's ok, did you accidentally knock it?" Blaine asks as he starts to clear them up.
"'Eah, me twy to weach der 'mote" he sobs.
"Hey, it's ok, it was an accident" Blaine hugs him to try and console him and Kurt smiles for a minute behind his daddy's neck.
"Ok, I'll get you some more but you have to be a bit more careful ok?" Blaine warns him.
"Tay daddy" he sniffles.
"Ok, come on, let's get you some more snacks" he says as he picks Kurt up and carry him to the kitchen. He places him on the counter while he gets more snacks out for Kurt.
"There we are, is Fireman Sam over? Or do you want to watch something else?" He asks.
"Urm 'on'ter inc. pwease" Kurt says as he sits himself down on the sofa.
"Daddy, tome 'atch" Kurt says as he pats the seat next to him.
"Sorry bud, I've got things to do"
"Pweeeeeaaaaaasssssssseeeeeee" Kurt begs.
"Sorry baby, I'll make it up to you though, promise" he kisses Kurt's forehead before leaving the room. Kurt huffs and throws his sippy cup down, getting juice on the sofa, carpet and himself but he didn't care, daddy didn't want to watch Monster Inc. with him. Kurt looks at his toys in the corner and pretends not to know what he doesn't want to play with so he heads over there and pulls his toys out, 'trying' to find something he would like to play with making loads of noise whilst he was at it.
"Kurt, keep it down in there please" Blaine calls through but Kurt pretends not to hear him so he decides to be louder.
"Vrrrooooommmm" Kurt nearly shouts.
"Kurt!" Blaine shouts through, startling Kurt, who almost cried by how loud his daddy's voice got.
"Hhmm" he huffs again as he crosses his arms over his chest. Kurt then thought of things to do to distract his daddy and get his attention back. He decided to try and make his pull up leak through his trousers but he didn't need to go at the moment so he got his cup and poured it over himself and then floor so it made a puddle and then waited awhile until he needed to go. However, it wasn't long until he actually needed to go and once he did, he started crying.
