Today, Kurt is going over to Burt and Carole's as I have a lot of work to do and I don't think it will be great for him to be here right now as I won't have the time to play with him and take care of him, which may lead to him feeling unwanted and unhappy about the situation.
"Are we ready to go?" I asked Kurt as I grabbed his bag.
"Uh huh"
"Ok, let's go then" I say as I picked him up, I decided not to bother with shoes as we were only going to Burt and Carole's house. He wore some red and blue trousers that had stars on the knee, a plain red shirt with two blue stripes on the sleeves, a white and red Lion King jumper and some colourful dinosaur socks. He had a green Monster Inc. dummy in his mouth and the other two were being carried by him.

I clip Kurt into his car seat and place his bag in before getting in myself. We head to Burt and Carole's and I get Kurt and his bag out.
"Aww, hello" Carole coos as she already opened the door.
"Hiya" I smile at her.
"Gwan'ma! Gwan'pa!" Kurt cheers as he reaches out for Burt, who happily took him.
"Ello, you" he says as he kisses Kurt's head.
"Thanks so much for looking after him" I say.
"Oh, no problem, bud, we'll take care of this one anytime and besides he is my actual son" Burt tickles Kurt.
"Do you want to come in for a bit?" Carole asks.
"Oh um no thanks, I have quite a lot of work to do" I decline politely.
"Ok, no problem dear" she smiles at me. Burt puts Kurt down and was about to go inside but I caught him just in time.
"Hey, I'm now going for a few days, ok, I need you to be on your best behaviour, alright?" I warn him.
"Tay daddy" he hugs me.
"Ok, I love you"
"Wove wou" I hug him a little longer before finally letting him go.
"Any trouble, give me a call, here's all his stuff" I say as I hand over Kurt's bag.
"He'll be fine, now go catch up on whatever it is you need to do" Burt puts a hand on my shoulder.
