Kurt and I have been looking around for a Nursery for him, he seems nervous and excited about it. Today is the day he starts and I'm allowed to stay with him the whole day if he doesn't go in alright but I'm not allowed to stay with him the next day because then the children will think that the parents can stay all day, but that's not the case.
"Kurt, baby, let's get up, it's time to get ready" I coo to him as I put my hand on his back while he laid in bed under the covers.
"Let's go sweetie" I coo again. We brought his Paw Patrol bag and lunch box a few days ago, which he was excited to use. I packed spares incase he was sick or his pull up leaked or he fell over or something like that.
"That's it, let's get up and have breakfast" I say to him as I let him stretch. I soon get him out of bed and into a fresh pull up before taking him down to get some breakfast. I place him in his seat and make some breakfast for the both of us, as soon as I finish making it, I give Kurt his and then grab mine before sitting down with him.
"You excited to start Nursery?" I ask Kurt as I look at him to see his reaction.
"Mmmm, nunno" he mumbles.
"It's ok, you'll be alright, you can make new friends, you get to show off your new backpack" I tell him, happily to see if I could get him interested, which didn't work. We soon finish up breakfast and I do a quick tidy up in the kitchen while Kurt plays with his toys for a minute.
"Let's get dressed" I call out to Kurt.
"Let's see if we can find something smart for today" I tell him as I follow him up the stairs and into his room. I do another quick change of the pull up and pull out a pair of jeans with stars on the knees and then a polo shirt that had red sleeves, a white middle and the top part navy and white stars with a few buttons.

"Ok, now for some socks" I tell him as I look around in some draws.
"Ah, here we go, something silly" I try and cheer Kurt up as he didn't seem to happy.
"Look" I tell Kurt as I show him the socks. They were grey with red where the toes go and a red silly monster in the middle.
