Today we are getting rid of Kurt's old room and in with a toddler bed, which would probably better as he always climbs out of his crib. We might also go swimming as it's really warm today.
"Are you guys alright to be painting while I'm gone?" I ask Burt and Carole.
"Sure sweetie, so then all you have to do is buy and set up the furniture and the painting smell can go by the time you get back" Carole says.
"Alright, are you sure that you're ok with me doing this?" I ask them nervously.
"Sure bud, anything for Kurt that is suitable, we'd be happy to do and help" Burt reassures me.
"Ok, thank you guys so much" I smile at them, appreciatively before hugging them both.
"No problem kid" Burt says as he hugs me back.
"It's ok honey" Carole says as she hugs me back as well, also rubbing my back a little.
"I better go get him dressed then" I say as I head out into the living room.
"Hey Kurt, shall we get dressed and go pick out somethings for your room?" I coo to him as I start clearing some toys away.
"Yeah daddy, me det 'ew 'ed" he cheers.
"Yes, you do" I smile at him as I finish clearing the toys.
"Let's head up" I say as he runs up the stairs, me close behind. I close the gates and change him into a new pull up before getting out some blue shorts and his Finding Nemo vest.

"Look at you" I coo to him as I kiss his belly, making him giggle.
"Alright, we ready to go?" I ask him as we get back down the stairs.
"Me 'hoes daddy" Kurt laughs as he looks at his feet.
"How could daddy forget" I playfully gasp as I grab his Finding Nemo flip flops.
"Here, let's put these on" I say, I help him put his shoes on before putting his hat and sunglasses on him. We head out to the car and I clip him into his seat.
"Kurt? How do you feel about going swimming today?" I ask him as I look at him through the rear view mirror.
"Yeah daddy" he cheers as he throws his arms up in the air.
"Alright, but we have to be on our best behaviour then" I warn him.
"Uh huh, me be dood daddy" he smiles at me.
"You're always my good boy, except the occasional tantrum" I mumble the last bit to myself. We soon get to the shops and we walk in.
"I'll get you a nice cold drink before I pay ok?" I tell him.
