*Burt's PoV*
I've noticed recently that Blaine has been down for the last few days and has a small amount of energy to care of Kurt. Carole and I are sat at the kitchen table when I bring the conversation up.
"Carole, can I ask you a question?"
"Sure honey, what is it?"
"Have you noticed how Blaine's been a little off recently?" I ask her.
"Of course I have, I'm thinking of taking him to the doctors to check if he has depression" she tells me.
"Really?"
"Well, he hasn't been himself and he can just about take care of Kurt"
"That's true, he doesn't look to happy does he?"
"No, not at all" she sighs.
"Perhaps we both take him tomorrow, see how he is today and Finn can babysit Kurt" I tell her.
"Ok, we'll do that" she smiles.
*Blaine's PoV*
I hear Kurt through the monitor, crying, this hardly ever happens, he hardly cries in the morning, I couldn't be asked to get out of bed but I do anyway just for the sake of Kurt and go to his room.
"Hey baby" I coo as I pick him up.
"What's wrong?"
"Et" he says.
"Ok, daddy'll get you cleaned up" I sigh. I place him on his changing table and change his nappy.
"Let's get breakfast" I say as I pick him up again and take him downstairs.
"Morning sweetie" Carole greets me as I clip Kurt into his chair.
"Mornin'" I mumble, but I don't look at her.
"You ok there, bud?" Burt then asks me.
"M'fine" I sigh as I get Kurt some cereal.
"Here baby" I say to Kurt as I pass his bowl over and sippy cup.
"Fank wou daddy" Kurt smiles at me.
"You're welcome" I say before sitting down without breakfast.
"You not hungry?" Burt asks me.
"Nah, I'm good"
"You've got to eat something sweetie" Carole coos at me.
"I'm not really hungry" I tell her with a small smile.
"Ok, but remember to at least have something later" she says.
"Yeah" I mumble, not really interested in food.
"Daddy, done" Kurt smiles at me.
"Good job bud" Burt praises him.
"Daddy?" Kurt asks.
"Yeah?"
"Done" he says.
"Ok, good boy" I fake smile at him as I get up and move around a little to help clean him up so he can go play and leave me alone. As much as that didn't sound nice, sometimes it's nice to just be own your own without having to worry about taking care of someone else. I soon clean Kurt up and let him out of his seat before he runs off to the living room, probably to play with his toys.
