Camila PoV

Lauren blasted the music, with the windows of her car down. We were driving towards my house, we both decided to not watch the rest of the football game.
"Smell that air? I love it!" Lauren smiled as the wind blew her hair back.
"You like the smell of freshly cut grass, too?" I asked as i inhaled the outdoorsy smell.
"Who doesn't? It makes me feel free" She said. We both laughed, finding everything funny, just because we were so happy to be back together.
I leaned over from the passenger seat and kissed her on the cheek. Her hair blew into my face, tickling my cheek. I giggled and leaned back into my position as the car kept driving forward.
"Here we are, at your lovely castle, princess" Lauren pulled up to the curb by my house.
"Princess? That's a new one"
"You are my little princess, you are my baby" She grinned at me.
"Awww thanks. I love being your baby, but I think i need a diaper change" I joked around, we both burst into laughter.
"I try to be all romantic and cute and you start talking about diapers, that's my girl for ya"
"I thought my joke was actually pretty clever, i am really proud of myself"
"Rightfully so" Lauren nodded and we sat in her car, not wanting to part ways.
"I should go inside now..." I said.
"Ok" Lauren leaned forward and kissed me on the lips, i returned it and pulled away.
"Goodnight, i love you" I added in.
"I love you too" She stayed in her position, gazing into my eyes.
"You know what? Why don't you come inside, i'm sure my family wouldn't mind. I just really don't want to leave you right now" I said, a smile growing on her face.
"I'd love to" She replied. We both got out of her car and started walking towards my house, she grabbed my hand and i smirked. I could get used to this again.
I opened the door with my key and we both walked inside, her fingers still laced with mine, we walked out into my living room, where my family was sitting on the couch and watching TV.
"Hey" I called out.
"The game already ended? Who won?" My dad asked, looking at us.
"We didn't really feel like staying until the end" I shrugged.
"Should of known my daughter couldn't last through a whole sporting event" My dad shook his head, and we all lightly laughed.
"Lauren!" Sofi called out when she finally realized that she was here, she ran over to us, hugging Lauren's legs.
"Hey mini camila, how ya doing?" Lauren crouched down to Sofi's eye level.
"Come play with me!" Sofi jumped up and down.
"Me? Play with you? I don't think i'm worthy of that, are you sure?" Lauren joked around.
"Yes!" Sofi laughed and tugged on Lauren's hand.
"Sofi, she is my girlfriend, you have to share her with me" I followed after them, we sat in the middle of our living room, American Idol on in the background.
"No!" Sofi frowned.
"I agree with Sofi. Sorry you are going to need to find some new friends, she can't share me" Lauren played along as Sofi started playing with bratz dolls.
"You are such a loser" I stuck my tongue out at Lauren.
"So Lauren, do you play any sports?" My mom asked. Here comes the questions.
"Yeah, i play softball, but i haven't been able to play much lately, with everything going on" She said, looking at my mom.
"That's a shame, i'm sure Camila would love watching your games. She is quite the athletic one" My mom joked and they all laughed.
"I'm sitting right here mother" I said through gritted teeth, holding back a smirk.
"So any plans for college?" My mom asked again.
"We are sophomores mom" I added in.
"Right, well are you in any clubs at school?" She persisted with the questions.
"No" Lauren answered.
"Are you on high honor roll? Straight A student?"
"Mom stop invading her privacy" I spit out at her, getting embarrassed by her questions.
"I get B's and A's" She answered, playing with one of Sofi's dolls.
"That's good, very good" My mom looked pleased and went back to watching TV.
"Sorry" I mouthed over at Lauren, she just shrugged.
"It's fine" She winked at me.
"What happened to your eye?" Sofi looked up at Lauren.
"I winked, i can teach you how if you want" She said to Sofi.
"Yeah!" Sofi looked at Lauren with admiring eyes as Lauren taught her how to wink.
"If you ever like somebody, just shoot them a wink, it will make them go weak in the knees. I use it on your sister all the time" Lauren bit her lip and gave me a devious glare.
Sofi practiced winking, she wasn't that great yet and just looked like she had a twitching problem. Lauren kept helping her perfect it and i felt so warm inside. Everybody was in one room, getting along, just like it should be.
"Sofi, time for bed" My mom stood up to put her to bed.
"No! I want to stay with Camila and Lauren" She whined, looking like she was going to cry.
"Sofi, you have three seconds to stand up" My mom warned again.
"No!" Sofi threw her bratz doll.
"How about I take you up to bed, tell you a story before you fall asleep" Lauren suggested.
"Ok" Sofi gave in and Lauren took her hand, walking up the stairs.
"She's good with kids, she's a good one Camila" My mom said as i walked by her. I smiled and nodded.
"I know" I said, i then walked up the steps and leaned in the door way of Sofi's room.
I couldn't hear what Lauren was saying, but Sofi was soon fast asleep in her bed, Lauren turned off the lamp by her bed and walked towards me.
"Good job babe" I grinned. "Never knew you were great with kids".
"I deal with you every day, and you are practically a big kid"
"You have a point" I answered, i kissed her lips and then closed Sofi's door.
I then walked us towards my room and we walked inside, i shut the door.
Lauren PoV
I looked at Camila's room, it was scattered with pictures and other items. It was just as crazy as Camila could be at times.
"Cute room, baby girl" I said.
"Thanks" She plopped down on her bed and I sat next to her.
We then heard a rapid knocking on the door.
"Camila" Mrs. Cabello called form outside the door. "I don't like this door being locked, if you are going to be in your room you need to leave the door open".
"Mom" Camila groaned and i started laughing.
"Camila, who knows what you two could be doing behind closed doors".
Camila was blushing and i was finding every moment of it hilarious, Camila walked to the door and opened the door.
"Happy mom? Maybe now we can watch curious george and play with barbies, because apparently we are little kids who can't control themselves" Camila sarcastically remarked.
Mrs. Cabello gave her a stern look and walked away. Camila looked at me and crossed her arm as i smirked.
"It's not funny! Your so mean to me" Camila rolled her eyes.
"Come on babe, it's pretty funny. Your mom cares about you a lot, i actually wish my mom could be more caring" I said back.
"All of our privacy is gone...." Camila frowned.
"Not exactly" I said, thinking up a plan.
"huh?" Camila said, confused.
I started grabbing pillows and and throwing them on the floor. I pulled over chairs and books and started making a fort with her bed comforter, until eventually we had a cute little tent.
"Want to go inside?" I asked, her face lit up like a little girl.
"How did you know how to do that?"
"I built a shelter five times more complicated than this on the island, this is nothing" I answered. We both crawled inside and laid on the pillows on the floor.
"Hold on a second" Camila leaned out of the tent to grab her laptop, her butt still in the tent. I sat up and spanked it with my hand.
"Lauren!" Camila yelped as she came back in our blanket fort, her laptop in her hand.
"What? That was a ghost i didn't do anything" I put my hands up in protest.
"I'm scared of ghosts" I said back.
"Of course! One day i am going to write a list of everything you are scared of"
"I'm not scared of anything when i have you here to protect me" Camila set down her laptop and hugged me, i fell backwards and she toppled on top of me.
I wrapped my arms around her body and hugged her into me.
"You just fell into a trap, i'm never letting you go" i kissed her cheek.
"That's not exactly a trap, more of a dream of mine" Camila snuggled into me.
"I really do love you" I hugged her tightly.
"And i love you too".
I kissed her lips and we adjusted positions, she held herself up and kissed me.
"What are you two doing in there?" Mrs. Cabello called out.
"Nothing!" Camila called back. I started kissing her neck.
"Are you sure?" Her mom called out again.
"Y-yes" Camila stuttered out as i bit down on her neck, rubbing my hands up and down her sides.
"Alright, don't stay up too late. Lauren has to go home soon"
"I know mom!" I yelled back, i heard her walk off and i glared at Lauren.
"You aren't funny" Camila tried to pull away.
"i told you i wouldn't let you go" I wrapped my arms tightly around her.
"Ok, let's keep it that way" Camila nestled into me and i smiled.
This was the happiest place i have been in forever.
