Chapter 10

Niall's POV

"we'll get through this, Liam, together." I say my eyes locking with his. I had the sudden urge to kiss him. He was just sitting there waiting for me. So helpless an- NIALL STOP THAT! Says a little voice in my head. It's right. Liam is straight as a ruler, and I'm about as straight as...well...Harry's hair. I force myself to remove myself from Liam.

"I've got some good news." Liam says with a half smile.

I look up at him questioningly.

"Me and Danielle....we got back together again." He says

Oh my god. OH MY FUCKING GOD. he did not just say that. You have got to be kidding me. WHAT THAT FUCK NO! Ok....that sounds so bad...but I thought that maybe, just maybe I had a chance....

"Oh...really? That's...erm...great!" I say, dispite what I'm feeling inside.

"Yeah. She explained everything. She told me it was just a misunderstanding. She was drunk and someone snapped a picture at the wrong time." he explains with a smile.

'No Liam! She's lying! It's my fault! She did it to get you back for cheating on her! Something you never did!' I scream on the inside. What the fuck?! Oh my fucking god. FUCK. FUCK. FUCK IT ALL! How in hell could he believe that?!?! I can feel the tears starting to come. I can let Liam see me like this....

"Well that's great Liam! But I really should get some rest..." I say quickly.

"Oh..." he replies, a bit confused. "Well alright Nialler. I'll see you later." he then gets up and goes out the door. As soon as he's gone, I immediately pull ,y phone out from under my pillow and text Zayn.

ZAYN. I need you. NOW. I type and then hit send.

Within minutes he is at my door.

"Niall this better be goo-" he starts, but stops when he sees the tears running down my face. Wait I'm crying?! Since when? Ah what the fuck who cares. Anyway, Zayn practically runs to the side of my bed.

"Niall, what's wrong?" he asks with concern clear in his voice.

"Liam." I say simply. Understanding comes across his face.

"Oh boo, what happened?" he asks me, pulling me into a hug.

I explain everything that happened, from the butterfly challenge to Liam and Danielle getting back together. Zayn doesnt interrupt me once. He just sits quietly and listens. When I finish, he finally speaks.

"Liam...cuts himself...?" he slowly asks. I nod. Zayn buries his face in his hand and sighs loudly.

"I was worried he might do something dumb.."

"Please talk to him about it."I whisper pleadingly.

"Don't worry Nialler, I will."

"Thanks.."

"But wait...Liam thinks Danielle kissed that other guy cause she was drunk?" Zayn questioned.

"Yeah. He has no fucking idea she's lying, because his hearts so fucking big that he didn't even think twice about forgiving her. Now I have no shot Zayn.." I say, beginning to tear up.

"Shhhh..." Zayn coos, "I'll find a way to bust her Niall. Don't worry."
