Rescuing Lance pt 3

*Keith's Pov*

"Shiro what do we do?" Hunk asks, everyone is frozen.
"We can't give them the Lions, and we're not gonna give them Lance. Pidge let's stick to the plan before, land somewhere where they can't see. I'll land red and go in with you. Shiro and Hunk, you two stay hidden too." I tell them, they agree.

I get in the green lion and Pidge puts a cloaking device on. They hack into the systems and open a dock. "Pidge I'll need you to guide me through okay?" They nod and I go out, "take a right. The holding cell where Lance is, is above you. Make your way up to the second level undetected." And I do as told, Guards are around the door. "They left you, pathetic blue paladin. They aren't going to come save you." The voice says, "good then they'll still be able to defeat Zarkon without me!" Lance counters, screaming in pain after. "Pidge" I whisper, "I need a way in that doesn't alert the centuries." "There's some vents above you, go through those, straight ahead."

I crawl through the vents, and there's one above the cell. Lance is in a small puddle of his own blood, "why don't you kill me anyway?" "That will be arranged."
I jump through the vents and land near the door, "the red one." "Keith No-" "to late Lance." I take my Bayard and swing at the man, he runs near Lance. "Don't move or he dies" it says, I stay still. Lance mouths 'just go.' Something busts through the door, it's Pidge. They throw their Bayard and it wraps around the Galra. I run to Lance, cradling him.

"You're gonna be okay, let's go" I tell him. He stands up and leans on me, "he's loosing alot of blood Keith-"
"We need to hurry then, get to the blue Lion." Lance and I walk, him struggling the most.  We get to Blue and he opens, "Blue I'm not your Paladin but I need to pilot you back to the others." It powers on and I fly it to the others, landing. "Blue fly Lance home" I ask after I get out. It does, and we all get back in our lions and fly to the ship. I get out of red and run to Blue, I grab Lance and bring him to a healing pod.

"Coran how long will his healing take?" "More than two of your earth days."

It's been three days and Lance hasn't came out of the healing pod. I've been beside it the whole time, I hear something. The pod opens and Lance falls out, I catch him. "You're okay!" He hugs me, then kisses me. "You're awake!" Hunk shouts and runs, engulfing us in a bear hug. Everyone joins in, after a few ticks we let go. "Im tired" he announces. I grab his hand and hold it, he smiles. "You need to eat first, okay babe?"

He nods and leans his head on me, I kiss his hair and walk him to the kitchen.
