Percy's POV

"You are going to do amazing." I kissed Annabeth. We were backstage, and it was opening night for the school play: Hamilton. Annabeth was about to go on as Angelica, and she was feeling nervous.

"We are all here supporting you." Piper said.

"Yeah. Just look to the front row." Reyna added. We all gave Annabeth reassuring smiles.

Annabeth took a deep breath. "Okay. I can do this. Just sing like I always do."

"Exactly. You got this." I gave her a grin. She smiled right back.

"Alright, we should get back to our seats." Piper said. "Good luck, girly." She hugged Annabeth, which was a bit difficult due to her big ball gown. She looked gorgeous, though.

"One more kiss for good luck?" I asked.

"Go for it." She smiled and I leaned in. She kissed me back, and eventually we were full-on making out. "Alright. You should go." She said after pulling away.

"Alright. Good luck, Wise Girl." I walked off stage to my seat.

Annabeth finally came on stage after what felt like forever.

"Angelica!" She sang.

"Eliza," Silena Beauregard sang after.

"And Peggy." And I didn't know who sang that.

"Look around, look around, the revolution's happening in New York!" Annabeth belted out. She sounded amazing. She looked amazing too.

Her gown swayed back and forth as she moved swiftly across the stage. It looked almost as if she were floating.

The song ended and everyone clapped, Annabeth's father and I being the loudest. He sat next to me, and I sat on the end. So looking from the stage, going left to right, it was:

Nico, Will, Frank, Hazel, Calypso, Leo, Piper, Jason, Thalia, Reyna, me, and Annabeth's dad.

I looked over and saw Piper shushing Leo, because he kept trying to talk to her, then trying to talk to Calypso, and her doing the same as Piper. Everyone else was contently watching the show, but Nico and Will were talking about something. Probably bickering about the stage set up, or something.

After a few more songs, Annabeth's solo song began playing; Satisfied. It was the song that she sang that day in school. She started to sing and her voice filled the entire auditorium. She sounded beautiful.

"So, so, so,
So this is what it feels like to match wits
With someone at your level
What the hell is the catch?
It's the feeling the freedom of seeing the light.
It's Ben Franklin with a key and a kite.
You see it right?"

Everysingle word was pronounced perfectly, which I could have never pulled off considering how fast the rap was.

"But when I fantasize at night
It's Alexander's eyes.
As I romanticize what might have been if I hadn't sized
Him up so quickly.
At leads my dear Eliza's his wife.
At least I keep his eyes in my life."

Her voice was low and soft, but could still be heard, for no one made a sound at all, being completely enraptured in Annabeth's performance.

"From you sister!" She belted it out.
"Who is always by your side.
TO YOUR UNION!" Her voice rang through the room, her voice powerful and filled with emotion. She hit the high note perfectly. Everyone cheered.

"May you always,
Be satisfied.
And I know
She'll be happy as his bride
And I know
He will never be satisfied,
I will never be satisfied."

She finished the song. Everyone clapped and cheered and whistled. She was amazing. And she was my girlfriend.

The beautiful, smart, funny, talented and everything in between Annabeth Chase, was my girlfriend.

Soon the play was over and everyone cheered, especially when Annabeth, Silena, and Malcolm (who played Alexander Hamilton) bowed.

Annabeth came down to us, struggling in her big pink gown. I reached out a hand and helped her down the steps. Once she was stable, she jumped into my arms and planted a kiss right on my lips. "That was exhilarating!" She beamed. Then she went to her father.

"Great job, pumpkin. You looked great up there." He hugged his daughter tight.

Then Annabeth went over to everyone else.

"You have no idea how jealous I am of your ball gown." Hazel said.

"Aw, thanks Haze." They hugged.

Then Reyna came over. "ANNABETH THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY FREAKING AMAZING!" She didn't care that she was screaming and most likely disturbing other people. She grabbed her best friend in a tight hug.

"Thanks Reyna." Annabeth laughed.

"That was awesome! You did so good! Oh, I'm so proud of you!" Piper and Annabeth have each other a good squeeze.

"Thanks, Pipes."

Then Leo came over. "Annie, when you belted it out, that was awesome! TO YOUR UNION!" Leo began screaming a horrible rendition of Satisfied. Everyone groaned for him to shut up, while Annabeth laughed.

"Thank you, Leo." She hugged him.

After Annabeth hugged Frank, Jason, Will, Nico, Thalia and all the others, she went back stage to change.

She came back wearing ripped jean shorts and a flowy Hamilton crop top. It was still warm out at 8 o'clock at night because it was May 7th. "Alright, shall we get food?" She laces her arm through mine while asking everyone.

"We shall!" They all agreed.

Annabeth's dad pulled her aside. "Hey. You did amazing up there, pumpkin. I hate to, but I have to leave because my flight leaves in two hours. I have to fly out to Michigan. I'll be back soon, though."

"Okay. Thanks. Bye dad, love you." She hugged her father.

"Love you too." Then he walked off.

Annabeth turned back to me. "Alright. Let's go get some food. I'm starving."
