09|「Pain」

"Done. Let's go home," Gusion exclaimed. Angela nodded, and stood up. I did the same, but suddenly, my other leg started to throbs too.

I walked a little bit slower to ease the pain. The two noticed this. "Lesley, what's wrong?" Angela asked as she stared at me.

Gusion also stared at me, with that sharp glare. I laughed nervously. "Ahaha, i-it's nothing. Hehe," I replied.

Angela and Gusion stared each other, then, Angela shrugged. They continued to walk side by side, leaving me behind.

I rested my body on my bed, closing my eyes. My peaceful state was broken by a sound of a bell. My phone buzzed.

I got a message from... Angela?

Suddenly, my phone ringed. My lips curved, forming a smile when I saw who called me. It was Gusion.

I answered the call (Freya? Is dat u?), and place my phone's speaker near my ear. "H-hello!" I stuttered. I'm feeling nervous.

"Hm... What were you-"

Gusion's sentence was cut off by a familiar yell. "Lesleyyyyyyyyy!" it was Angela's voice. So Gusion also called Angela...

"Lesley! We have to stay cheerful, bla bla bla bla bla," Angela said, then babbling about unimportant things.

"Okay!" I said, with a fake cheery tone. "*sigh* Yes, but.. My whole body hurts..." Angela cried out with a b*tchy tone.

"Eh? Really? But... You're okay, right?" Gusion asked, his voice is full of concern and regrets. A small gasp escape my lips.

Gusion is worried about Angela, but me? Heh. He didn't even ask if I'm alright or not.

"Yeah, but... I think I had a fever~" Angela said, and again, with that b*tchy and annoying tone.

I gritted my teeth when I heard Gusion's reply. "Get well soon, Angela. Don't forget to eat. Anyways, how is your leg?" Gusion asked.

"Hmm? Oh, it's better now! Thanks to you, Gusion," Angela replied. "Your welcome," Gusion said

Please, not again! Tears streamed down from my face. My heart ache. I didn't even notice that I've cried until my first tear fell on my bed sheet.

"-ley!"

"Lesley?"

The two called my name. "Yes?" I asked in a low volume, as I wipe the tears from my face.
