"Oh my god!" Ian exclaimed as we got home, and jumped out of the car, the journey home had been bliss, and just how I remembered home to be, the frost on the windows and around the trees comforted me, although I did miss the sunny american days. The journey home had also been filled with questions partly for me but mostly for Neal, but he answered every single one and laughed and smiled politely. Who knew he'd be such a great hit.
"What?" I laughed as I closed the boot, mum and dad already making their way inside as I hauled my handbag over my shoulder and Neal took both of our suitcases inside... what a gentleman.
"I just cant believe you're finally home!" he laughed bringing his arms over his head and having a grin that took over most of his face "Give me a hug bitch" I laughed and eagerly hugged him, I missed Ian's hugs they were always warm, comforting and ... yes, he still used his Hugo boss aftershave. I pulled away from the hug a little longer than anticipated and then smiled back at Ian, as we walked towards my house.
We walked on the pathway and I smiled, I missed my house probably most of all, all of my memories made here. It was hardly anything compared to mine and Caffrey's place but it was still something, we had a library, kitchen, dining room, TV room, living room. Dad inherited the house from grandpa, that's probably why we live in such a nice area and plus the fact that dad's family have been a history of lawyers or solicitors. The house was old, probably older than grandpa, the corridor had ornaments, pictures and fireplaces that would probably cost more than I make in a year, but we'd never sell them. Sentimental value of course.
"Where am I sleeping?" I asked mum as we made our way to the corridor. Placing my almost two tonne handbag down, what had I packed?
"In your old room, its still there." She smiled and without warning I embraced her in a hug, although I would've loved it if they had turned my room into something else keeping it showed how much I meant to my family. "I love you sweetie, have a great time back" she whispered in my ear and I smiled and kissed her cheek, pulling away from the embrace.
"I love you too." I smiled, then turned to Neal who was on his phone, probably messaging Peter or Mozzie. "Come on Neal" I said and he jumped slightly making me laugh, and he laughed too. Bringing both our bags and following me up the staircase.

"Why does this house smell like christmas threw up?" Neal laughed and I rolled my eyes playfully, his back was turned to me as he was sorting his clothes out into the wardrobe that we shared. While I sprawled on my bed eating gingerbread.
"We like christmas okay?" I joked back, and he turned to face me, his charming smile prominent.
"like, I get." He said walking towards me, and sitting down next to me "but literally eating gingerbread in bed, is another extreme." he winked, took a piece and walked to the en suite bathroom.
"Hey! You cant seal my gingerbread!" I shouted playfully I hear a mumble of "whatever" and then the shower turning on. It was a good idea it was already late. I got off the bed and went to the drawer to pick out something to sleep in. I decided on a white silk nightdress with lace around the edges and bust. I looked back at the bed and noticed Neal's phone "Neal your phone" But the shower was to loud so it canceled me out. I huffed and put the phone on the bedside table but as I did so his phone turned on.
