I looked at Neal as he smiled back at me, holding my hand as we laid back in my bed, he looked adorable. He always did when he smiled, his bright blue eyes looking straight into mine. He looked at me and then to the bed cover. I wish I could tell what he was thinking.

"How was your catch up with Jake?" Neal questioned, bringing my intertwined hand to his lips kissing my fingers and smiling, then bringing my hand down to his chest. I couldn't stop my heart fluttering when he did that, looking at me with his icy blue eyes that always made me melt.

"Really good, I've missed him." I said truthfully, and he smiled nodding his head. Although I saw him tighten his jaw looking at our intertwined hands.

"He's handsome, has umm..." he stumbled, "anything happened between you two?" he asked seriously.

I could hold back my laugh and I saw Neal breathe out a sigh of relief. "Jake?" I laughed, "really?, no way. I know to stay well away from Jake in romantic terms, has a new girlfriend every single year. No we're just friends and we always will be." I smiled at Neal and he smiled back, pulling me closer as he put his arm around me waist and I laid on his stomach softly.

"Good, for a moment there I thought he was looking at you like I could only look at you." He smirked, giving me a quick kiss, I smiled and then brought my hand up to play with his messy hair. I could tell he wanted to tell me something, he couldn't quite meet my eye.

"What's matter?" I asked softly, kissing his cheek and then looking at him again, still with the same expression on his face "Tell me"

"I've been hiding something from you Lily." He said, his tone lowered, and his eyes looking straight into mine. Is he telling me what I think he is? He pushed me off his chest and reached for his phone on the bed side table as I sat up facing him. "When we were on the plane and we saw Kate, I didn't stop talking to her that night." He said taking his hand back into mine, rubbing the back of my palm softly. "She gave me my number and we've been speaking ever since." he said passing me his phone, open on the messages so I could see them.

"Why didn't you tell me before?"

"I didn't want to alarm you, we had a long trip back, I wanted you to be happy with your family not worried about me." He said, "I know I lied to you and I'm sorry Lily-"

"Do you still love her?" I asked, cutting him off, Neal looked at me in a shocked expression.

"What?"

"You know what I said, do you still love her?" feeling my eyes well up as I spoke, I was being replaced surely, he wanted to go back to kate, I was the other girl. I couldn't stop my tears falling and caffrey pulled me into a hug, kissing my forehead, hair, cheek... everything.

"I love you. I love you more than you imagine."  He said hugging me tighter and then pulling me away so I could look at him, he smiled gently and wiped away my tears. "Kate was my past, I did love her, but you are mine now, and I love you now and I always will." He said and I smiled, which he returned and pulled my hair back.

"You're beautiful" He complimented, "you've made me a better person Lily, believe me I want to be with you always." his eyes looking into mine, he was beautiful, a strand of his brown hair falling down, his tongue came to wet his lips and then biting it softly, teasing me. He told me the truth, he told me because he loves me. God I love him more than he knows. I couldn't stop myself as I threw his phone on my bed and kissed him, furiously.

I wanted him to know how much I loved him, how much I appreciated him telling me the truth. I ran my hands through his hair as he grabbed my waist, moving me so he was on top as I continued to kiss him, both of us fighting for dominance, we hadn't been intimate in a while, not since a few months ago, he was too ill for that. I missed how he felt, his lips on mine, his hands moving up and stroking my cheek. Pulling away, looking at me, his pupils dilated, his face looked flustered.

"Are you sure you want to?-"

"Oh stop talking" I said pulling him onto my lips once again.
