This Soulmate AU idea is from my own imagination, if it happens to relate to or copy anyone else's story it is purely coincidental. I've heard of the red string of fate, having a timer on your wrist, your soulmate's name tattooed on you, and having your soulmate's first words said to you tattooed on you. Other than those, I haven't seen any other soulmate universe ideas.
