Chapter 12

Going to Jungkook's house was your plan for the day. You two were going to go out on an actual date later tonight, but you didn't let that stop you from trying to spend extra time with him. Did your plans actually go through though? No, of course not.

"It sucks that you're hearing this after coming over, but he was called in this morning to replace someone. Luckily it isn't a long shift, though, and he should be home in a little bit," Jin told you after bringing you into the house.

You were sitting in their living room now on a couch while Jin sat on an identical one opposite to yours. A coffee table separated you two and to the left was a large T.V, attached to the wall with a side table on the floor beneath it.

"That's some information I could've used earlier," you grumbled.

"Don't look too sad there, (Y/n). You get to spend time with us!" Hoseok entered the room and hopped onto the couch Jin was on, causing the older to bounce a little in his seat.

"Don't you have a job?" Jin asked.

"Don't you?"

"Yeah, but I don't need to go today. You, on the other hand, are constantly at the studio, so it's a little strange seeing you here," Jin said with a thoughtful expression.

"Only Jimin's going today," Hoseok said. "But you not having work today doesn't excuse you being home. Last time I checked, you have a soulmate that loves spending time with you."

"Anni is at her parents' house for the next few days," Jin revealed with a pout.

"Oh God, you're gonna die from the lack of attention before she returns," Hoseok joked.

"I just might."

"How many times do I have to tell you, I'm not going with you to your stupid work, Tae. In case you haven't realized, I have my own job." You turned your head in the direction of the voice to see Jimin descending the stairs with a sulking Taehyung following closely behind.

"It's so boring there, and Yoongi doesn't like watching my videos with me," Taehyung complained.

"And you think I want to? There might be a few things I want to achieve within this life, but jacking off to porn together with you is not on the list."

"Just for that, I don't want you to come anymore," Taehyung growled. Then he approached the living room, peeking his head in and noticing you. "What!? I didn't know (Y/n) was coming over! If I had I would've taken the day off!"

"Too late now, so just go to work already," Jin said.

"Will you be here when I get back?" Taehyung asked you.

"I'm going out with Jungkook tonight, so probably not," you replied.

"Why is life so cruel!?"

"Go to work and stop being melodramatic," Hoseok groaned, taking a couch pillow from behind him and throwing it at the grey-haired boy.

Taehyung caught it and threw it back. "Fine! I hate all of you except for (Y/n)."

With that, Taehyung walked down the hallway and with a slam from the front door he was gone. After a moment of silence, Jimin stuck his head in next.

"I'm leaving too, see you guys later. And good luck on your date tonight (Y/n)."

After giving a small wave, Jimin disappeared down the hall too and left the house shortly after, closing the door much more gently than Taehyung had.

"Since we had been talking about Anni before it just got me thinking, is Jimin in a relationship with his soulmate?" you asked.

"No, unfortunately. When he met her it turned out she was already dating some other dude. Jimin was pretty upset at first but it's not like he knew her that well, so he didn't take it too personally," Hoseok answered.
