Beach Days ~T.H.~

Chapter 7

After staying out until sunrise, I wasn't surprised that I woke up at 2 in the afternoon on Sunday. I roll over reluctantly and check my phone. There are no notifications, so I tell Alexa to play my shower playlist before hopping in.

After showering, I ask Alexa what the weather will be for the day. Alexa tells me it will be in the mid 60s with a light breeze. I am always cold, so I pair my simple outfit with a cute cardigan (above). To finish getting ready for the upcoming day, I straighten my hair and put on some light makeup.

I leave my room and head into the kitchen. Opening the foil packaging, I throw a pop tart into the toaster and turn on the tv. As Netflix is loading, my pop tart pops up. I go over and put it on a plate and pour myself some milk.

I walk back over to the couch and start eating. My phone dings, so I walk back into my bedroom to get it. As I approach it, it dings several more times. I look at it to see what spastic person was texting me.

I use my thumbprint to unlock my phone. After it unlocks, I open my messages app. I click on Tayler's name and view his messages.

Tayler <3: Goooooooood morninggggggg, gorgeoussssssssssss!

Tayler <3: How did you sleep last night?

Tayler <3: Or are you still sleeping?

Tayler <3: If you are, then you need to wake up.

Tayler <3: So I'll just send you random messages until you respond.

Me: IM AWAKE

Tayler <3: Good. How'd you sleep?

Me: Good, except I didn't get to bed until around 6 am bc this hideously unattractive guy that I met recently kept me out all night🙄

Tayler <3: Damn... tell me how you really feel😥

Me: ...he did buy me a milkshake tho, so maybe I'll excuse his looks😂

Tayler <3: Ok, now you're just being harsh...

Me: Sry😉

Tayler <3: Don't worry, I'll let you make it up to me...

Me: How?

Tayler <3: Come over to my place tomorrow morning and meet all my friends.

Me: I can't... classes.

Tayler <3: Shit

Tayler <3: Tomorrow evening then?

Me: I have to go to a workshop. It's required and it's worth a quarter of my semester grade.

Tayler <3: What about right now?

Me: Like now?

Tayler <3: Ya

Me: Ok

Tayler <3: Cool. See you in a bit?

Me: As long as you text me the address...

This boy...
