Uhm well now I'm embarrassed. But what if she starts to like Colton and they begin to date?!

Ok calm down Landon Colton said he would hear her out for me, just calm down.

I walked in a little circle on the parking area now to calm down my nerves but it didn't work. Ahhh sometimes I hate my mind.

"He wouldn't try anything just calm down bro." A voice I knew too well suddenly appeared.

Wtf is my best friend stalking me or why does he know how I am here, why I am hear and what I think about?

Well I guess I shouldn't have given him, the professional hacker, my phone password. Why do I always have to be so dumb?

"Relax I'm just trying to help Lan. Colton won't make a move on her he knows the consequences of ignoring one of your commands. I think he wants to at least get 70 years old."

Nodding my head I thought about his statement. Of course Colton wouldn't be that dumb. But what is if Katie falls in love with him? Could I cause that much pain and take him away from her?

I wouldn't be able to do that. It's her luck that matters most even if I want her luck to be the love I would give towards her.

After another fifteen minutes of me imagining bad things that could happen to Katie with Colton why I'm absence my best friend managed to drag me back to school.

The first hour was almost over so it wouldn't be worth to go to it anymore. Still ran hundred thoughts about Katie through my mind but they got less as I received a message.

From no one else but her. My heart nearly burst out off my chest and my hands got clammy. Nervously I opened the short text.

Katie: Sorry for being so cruel to you especially since I know your feelings towards me.

I couldn't help but smile. It made my day reading that she was sorry about hurting my feelings.

Quickly I replied.

Landon: It's ok mi amor. I'm sorry I got so possessive over you but you need to understand he's one of my friends and I don't like the way he looks at you.

I saw that Katie read the message but it took her awful 20 minutes to reply and I tried to stay calm.

Did I wrote anything wrong?

Finally a new message of my girl popped up.

Katie:You're one of Landon's friends?!

What was that supposed to mean?!

Landon: Is there anything wrong with Landon?😅

Katie:Uhm...well I think he's scary. Really scary.

Oh no! I don't want her to be scared of me.

Landon: What is so scary about him?

Katie:I mean his looks and the death stare he gives everyone is...how should I say that...intimidating.

Everyone but you. I thought and sight now that I knew what she thought about me.

Whenever I looked at Katie I needed to smile. I never gave her a "death stare" ever since she walked into school on her first day.

Landon: Well he is not bad Katie.

I tried to convince her.

Katie: How am I supposed to know that? He's scary and that's it.

I didn't know how to respond but Kate didn't gave me a long time to think because she already wrote the next message.

Katie: So you're Landon's friend. He has a total of five friends he's close with including Travis, Dolan and Blaine. I don't know the names of the others I'm sorry. So who are you???

Oh shit now I had to make a great excuse.

Landon: No I didn't say I'm one of his friends. I live with him he's my cousin.

This was obviously the worst lie I ever made.

Katie: Oh ok...

Landon: Yeah. What kind of chocolate do you like?

Katie: Wtf we just talked about who you are and then you're asking me what kind of chocolate I like? You sure are weird.

Landon: Sorry...

Katie: It's alright. I will get used to it.

This sentence caused a stupid grin to appear on my face. She's not giving me up!

Landon: Sure you will angel.

Katie: Woah now there are pet names already? Oh boy you're deep in this relationship and love thing.

Landon: Well it suits you flower. You're just so cute and innocent it's adorable.

Katie: I'm not cute!

Landon: Ok you're right. You're as cute as a puppy is and they are the most cute thing on earth except of you.

Katie: Oh ok...if you think so thank you.

Katie: I need to go

Well that was strange. She were in such a talking mood but all of a sudden she needs to go not even messaging me a reason...

Could it be because of the person with the bruises?

I really hope not but you never know. Should I maybe check up on her at her home or would it be too stalker like? Aaah I don't know what to do to keep my angel save!

Katie's POV:

To be honest Landon's "cousin" is kinda cute. But of course also creepy. I mean who in the world writes his crush with an unknown number and expects them not to freak out?!

I wish I could see who I really write with...but I think that won't happen too soon. He seems shy though.

Landon's cousin: Ok you're right. You're as cute as a puppy is and they are the most cute thing on earth except of you.

Awww why does he have to be so adorable?

Katie: Oh ok...if you think so thank you.

I smiled to myself but the smile fastly disappeared as I heard the stairs creak. Oh no!

Katie: I need to go

Quickly I hid my phone and just got enough time to take my book and lay down on my bed as my father stormed into the room with a bottle of beer in his right hand.

No! I started to panic as he came towards me.
