Kate's POV:

This crazy and sick guy! Why couldn't he just continue to be nice?? Now I'm out here all alone near a wood and I don't know how I got here. Everything is his fault. Huh!
This stupid bus driver didn't even want to tell me where I am.

My cold arms crossed over my chest trying to keep them warm but it didn't work properly. Why does all of this have to happen in November?

I got colder and colder and my teeth began to shatter but I walked further. I really needed to get away from them. What if they only played being nice to me?

What if they would have sold me! No...I don't think Landon would have done that. But what if he lied?

You're so stupid Kate! Never trust anyone you don't know ever again.

I am away now therefore I'm probably never going to see them again. They won't find me!

Landon's POV:

"Search everywhere! Track down every bus and look around at the stations!"

I was near crying. It had been two hours and the rain pouring down didn't help at all to stop myself worrying sick about my angel. What if she laid there out on the street almost dead because it's too cold this time of the year??

Did she take a jacket with her?

My hands began to shake in anger as I thought about how she left me there desperate on the bathroom floor. Did someone threaten her to leave? The person will die.

With anger flooding through my veins I got in the car to search for her near the woods. The bus she probably got in went there and if she didn't change the bus to confuse us.

The engine roared and the car dashed forward.

I have driven over a half hour now and there's still no sign of my Katie. My men also didn't find anything so far. Frustrated I hit the steering wheel.

Surely she would have been smart and hide away. I sped up furious I couldn't find her as I saw something red flashing up next to the street.

My eyes widened and I stopped the car as fast as possible. Dashing out off the car I ran as quick as possible towards the red hat I bought her a week ago.

I picked it up and looked into the woods. She must have run in there. Sighing I shook my head and began walking.

Only ten minutes later a white shirt flashed up through the naked trees and I needed to smile.

It was already slightly dark and as I got nearer I saw how Katie was freezing badly. She shivered and her skin had turned a little blue. As if it wasn't enough she cried. My heart broke even more.

With fast steps I went towards my girl and pulled of the jacket I wore. She flinched for a short moment but nestled into the jacket really fast.

"How did you find me?" Her teeth chattered and her body shook from the cold.

I sat down closely next to her and pulled her into me. "I'll always find you. What would you have done if I didn't? Died in the cold?" I stood up with her in my arms.

Katie's little cold body curled into me and hee eyes began to close slowly. "I would've been at a better place." She whispered before closing them completely.

"Katie don't you dare to fall asleep now!" I told her strictly but she couldn't hear me anymore. She was already knocked out from the cold.

Real fast I ran back to my car and drove back to the mansion with her. This stupid girl! She stayed out here so long, she must be half dead already.

On my way I contacted the men that I've found her and soon we all arrived in front of the house.

"Go get the doctor! The others get something warm for her!" Two of them ran while I got up to my room with Kate to get her into my bed.

As she was laid down I tucked her in and pulled as many blankets as I could find on top of her to get her warm again.

Five minutes later the doctor arrived.

"We need to pull her clothes off so her body warmth can react and get her warm again. Sir I would recommend if you laid down with her too to keep her warm. It would be better than this tons of blankets." In my head already played a scenario of me and Katie sleeping together naked and she waking up the next morning.

Even if she will hate me, I can't not help if she needs it, right?

Nodding deep in thought I first pulled all of my clothes except my boxers off and after that Katie's. Then I laid down with her.

The doctor looked at us and it was a really awkward moment. "What should I do if she wakes up?" I asked to change the theme.

"Oh yeah uhm...just talk to her and ask some questions so we can see if she still remembers what happened."

But if she doesn't she could remember while I ask and hate me even more...still I nodded. Even if she does she needs to be protected and save so no one can hurt her again. Eventually everything will turn out fine, I hope it will at least.

I pulled Kate closer and hugged her tightly. I felt how my eyes got heavy and soon I fell asleep with the love of my life in my arms.

Eight hours later:

"Aaaaaaah!" Shocked I opened my eyes and sat up only to notice Kate wasn't with me anymore.

Fastly I looked around the room only to see her staring wide eyed at me.

"Landon?!" She squeaked hysterically. My eyebrows shot up and I stood up and wanted to walk towards her but she moved backwards with every step I took towards her.

"Don't touch me!" Her arms covered her head protectively as I stood above her. She shivered and sank down on her knees the fear she felt evident.

Carefully I sat down in front of her and took her arms "I would never hurt you Katie." I whispered my eyes searching her sight. "But you killed him." She whispered back. "You killed my father why shouldn't you kill me?"

What will Landon do next?
