Of course I crossed my fingers behind my back.

I would be crazy for staying here after what he had done to Blaine!

In my head I already had a clear plan on how to escape his claws.

"Come on now Katie we don't need to stand in front of this door anymore, do we?"

I smiled sweetly at Landon and nodded while his lips twitched upwards. "Yes Landon." I smiled back and he took my hand carefully tugging at it while we went as far away from the door as possible.

It surely was so I would forget the scene that has happened just minutes ago.

But I didn't. This evening I will run away.

Landon was really caring the whole afternoon and literally overwhelm me with the attention he gave to me.

He didn't even let go of my hand.

Normally I would have cuddled into him or hugged his hand back but I wasn't in the mood.

I still haven't figured out how I think about this guy and why he is so scared to let me go but to find out what this all is about I need to go.

I need time away from this situation and problems and I need time for myself.

Landon can't come into my life and control everything I do and think. I don't want to feel like I've got a second dad who is controlling,  demanding and too focused on everything about my life.

I wanna make my own rules and make my own decisions, let it be good and bad ones, without letting other people pay for my mistakes.

It wasn't Blaine's fault, it was mine.

In the evening:

They were stupid enough to give me a room with a bathroom attached to it. Well it doesn't have a window but I can lock a person in there.

Do you know what I'm getting to?

Either yes or no we need to see how it will work out.

I quickly packed a bag of the clothing I had in my wardrobe and a hoodie of Landon, simply because it was comfortable of course and got into position.

Set

Go!

If not now I would never have the balls to do it.

Landon's POV:

"LANDON!!" I heard her scream and sure as hell thought someone was there to kill my angel. "Please come I'm sure it will eat me!!" There now I had proof! As soon as I heard Katie's desperate voice I bolted up the stairs and ran to her room.

As I opened the door getting ready to shoot someone I sighed in relief.

She stood at the wall the far away from the bathroom and pointed to it scared.

"There's a spider in there." She whispered and her eyes widened shocked.

Like the hero I was I went into the bathroom to kill the beast scaring my girl.

As soon as I was in the bathroom the door was slammed and I heard a key turning around.

Wait...What?

The?

Hell?!

Oh god.

Why did she do that?

"I'm really sorry Landon but this is a goodbye. I can't trust you. You don't even let me go outside and I need my freedom so I'm going to find it somewhere else. It scares me what you did to Blaine simply because I have had drunken a little and I can't live in fear like I did as I was with my dad. I don't want to feel like I've got a second dad who is controlling,  demanding and too focused on everything about my life. I wanna make my own rules and make my own decisions, let it be good and bad ones, without letting other people pay for my mistakes. It wasn't Blaine's fault, it was mine.I hope you will have a good life and a lot of happy moments." Her sweet voice sounded muffled through the door but I heard clearly that she cried a little.

She thought I was going to be like her dad? What a horrible guy I am! I felt tears threatening to spill and my under lip quiver. "Katie you can have all the freedom you want just stay please. I need you. Please angel open that door."

I literally begged on my knees. I swear as soon as she was in my arms I will treat her like a queen and say yes to her every wish. And I will never ever let her go! Not like her brother did.

She sighed and replied to my plea.
"I'm sorry Landon but I won't."

My heart shattered. Was she really going to leave me? She was going to leave me. She was going to leave me! What did I do???

"No Katie!" My broken self screamed as I heard that she opened the window. I hit and kicked against the door but it wouldn't give in.

After five blazing minutes the door finally budged and I stormed out looking around like a mad man.

The window was opened and Katie nowhere to be seen.

I ran towards it and looked down. Outside in the mud I saw her footsteps but they ended at the gate of the property.

Katie doesn't even know the city! She was never here in her memories and now she is alone out there! Fastly I called my men to go on a search party. Don't worry my angel I will find you no matter where you are. I love you.

I'm sure she couldn't be far away. No my girl couldn't just leave me. I needed to get her back really fast.
