I found him laying on the couch watching TV. Everything in me tensed and I eventually began to shake because I was so angry!

No matter if he was one of my best friends, he would need to pay for this.

I stalked in front of him and grabbed his Shirt completely out of control. "Why did you gave her alcohol?" I growled out between clenched teeth.

His eyes went wide and I saw how he gulped. Blaine was scared of me. Satisfied I smirked.

He should be. I planned a well deserved punishment.

"Did you also drug her?" I yelled out shaking out of anger. Shocked Blaine shook his head. "I swear I didn't Lan! I'm so sorry." He nearly cried and I smirked.

"Well it's a little late for that now Blaine. From now on don't call me Landon anymore but Sir. Understood?" He nodded fastly and looked to the floor.

"You'll wear this attire for two weeks and do everything I ask you to do otherwise I'll have to really punish you." I showed him a servant's uniform. He eyed it with wide eyes but still nodded. "Be glad you're my friend. Otherwise you would rot in the dungeon now. You may go now."

Just as he wanted to hurry out of the room I called him back. "Oh and Blaine." He turned around looking super scared. "If I see you near her again I won't show mercy." Defeated he nodded.

I walked back up sighing and silently opened the door of my room. Katie was still asleep and I glanced at her lovingly.

I knew she was too innocent to be with me, the bad guy but I could never let her go. My heart belonged to her.

I stalked into the room and closed the door as silent as I opened it. The key turned around two times before I walked over to her and laid down.

My arm found it's way over her waist and my head nestled closer to hers. She was save and with me.

I didn't want anything more. Well except of her hand in marriage but that would need to wait until she turned eighteen.

Just as I was about to sleep something, or better someone poked my cheek. A little giggle escaped my angel's mouth and I let go a tired chuckle.

"You're awake huh?" I asked cheekily and opened my eyes to look straight into hers. "Yes! But I have a slight headache." Her face fell into a frown.

Immediately I stood up and got over to the medicine cabinet to take out some Ibuprofen. As soon as I had filled a glass with water I strolled back over to the bed and handed Katie the glass and pill.

"Drink this and you'll feel better soon princess." She smiled at me and took the pill.

As she was done she began to speak. "I'm sorry I drank alcohol." Her head hung low and I could practically feel her sadness.

Sighing I pulled her close and kissed the top of her head. "It's okay, just don't do it again without me being near."

Nodding she cuddled closer and my heart nearly burst.

In the evening

Katie's POV:

Landon insisted on having dinner downstairs tonight. I don't really know why but I guess I'll find out soon.

Normally we would just eat upstairs in his or my room but today his whole... friends(?) were here chatting and laughing.

I sat next to Landon and the man had my hand in his hand in an weirdly possessing grip while his other arm rested around my waist holding me close to his body as if I could disappear if he didn't hold onto me like his life appeared on it.

In other words: he acted incredibly strange.

As the servants brought the food in I was confused. Why was Blaine with them? My question got answered soon.

"My dear friends and followers, you probably wonder why Blaine Ghost is with the servants tonight. I'll tell you the story!" Blaine looked incredibly uncomfortable.

Poor guy.

"As you may know he gave Kate alcohol and got her drunk. For this matter he deserves a punishment. Because he was the first who tried his punishment isn't high but the next one will die. Our mission is to keep Kate save at all matters! Understood?" All men agreed and I was confused.

They had a freaking mission?! Were they undercover agents or something like that?!

Wide eyed I stared at Landon.

Who was this man I learned to respect and trust so fast?

Was he dangerous?

Why was he dangerous?

Was I in trouble?

Oh hell I was!

I began to panic the longer I looked at him. At some point I couldn't hold it in anymore so I ran out of the room and towards the front door.

I hadn't been outside for such a long time!

Landon called after me and he sounded quite desperate and panicked but I didn't care. I needed to get out and away.

Just as I reached the gate of the mansion someone lifted me off the floor and held me close to the person's chest. I'm sure it was Landon.

My heart rate picked up even more as he began to talk.

"Katie what's wrong with you? Why did you freaking run away?" He sounded hurt as I tried to get free and out of his grip.

"Let me go!" I yelled desperately but he didn't bulge, he only gripped tighter to hold me in place.

"No!" He growled back and I gave up. It wasn't worth it.

"Why are you keeping me here? Who are you Landon?" I whispered and exhaustion could clearly be heard out of my voice as I slumped against his body.

"I'll tell you soon princess." My heart melted at the nickname. Stupid heart. "But for now you need to promise not to run away. I'm only trying to protect you." His voice sounded low and tired. "Pinky promise?"

"Pinky promise." We sealed a pact.
