how to deal with stress
- a thread- listen to lofi music or acoustic music,
it relaxes you a lot
- or even just listen to nothing, sit in
silence and start to notice the sounds
around you
- stay hydrated! seriously, drink some
water. when we're stressed we often
forget to..
- turn off your phone (!)
- meditate (youtube videos, apps like
calm or heads pace, or even just
sitting in silence and focusing on
your breath works wonders)
- tidy your room - clean space,clear
mind
- eat a nourishing meal. cook it
yourself if you can, see it as a
calming activity (chopping veggies is
so therapeutic) but if that's not
possible: it's fine. just order a meal or
eat out, don't stress yourself out over
small things.
- workout. you don't have to do
high-intensity workouts if that's not
your thing. it can be everything:
yoga, stretching, going for a walk..
do what feels right to you
- do something that you enjoy other
than spending time on your phone:
read, draw, paint, sing (or watch a
funny movie with some friends or
with your family - that works
wonders too)and remember : giving your best is fine but don't forget to listen to your body. if you worry to much and overwork yourself - stop! you don't always have to give 110%, nobody is perfect, it's okay.
