Jerika and How They Met- On Hold

why why why?

Harper has just woken up for the third time tonight throwing up. Erika jumped out of bed and ran to her room while Jake went and got her new sheets. 

E: your ok baby girl 

H: mama * harper cries as she wraps her arms around Erika's neck and cries on her shoulder.*

E: I know baby girl you don't feel good mama is gonna get you some medicine tomorrow.

Jake comes in her room a few seconds later. Erika stand up and takes Harper to her and Jake's bathroom. She sets her on the counter and takes her pajamas off for the third time tonight. She changes her pull-up and leaves her out of pajamas because she was sweating. 

H: seep wif you 

E: lets ask daddy 

Erika picks up Harper and she walks into the laundry room and puts her clothes in there as Jake walks in and puts her dirty sheets in there as well. 

H: daddy 

J: come here baby girl 

Harper leans towards Jake and he takes her into his arms. 

E: she wants to sleep with us 

J: she doesn't need to get our bed sick Korban is in there sometimes.

E: I know but still she's so sick 

J: what if she gets sick in our bed 

E: ok ok I get it 

J: I'll go lay with her until she falls asleep. 

E: ok 

Jake walks back to Harper's room and Erika walks to their room. 

H: dada sweep wif you 

J: I'm gonna stay here until you fall asleep but mama and Korban can't get sick. 

H: why you 

J: I don't care if I get sick 

H: don't weave 

J: I'm not till you fall asleep. 

Jake sits in the rocking chair in her room and begins to rock her back and forth. She refuses to fall asleep because she knows that he is going to leave her when she falls asleep. 

J: do you wanna sleep downstairs with me 

H: es 

J: ok lets go

Jake picks her up and her pacifier and blanket and walks downstairs. He lays on the couch and lays her on top of his chest and wraps the blanket around her and him. They soon both doze off and end up sleeping through the night. 

7:00AM 

Korban is now the one up and crying. Erika looks to her left to see that Jake isn't there. She climbs out of bed and makes her way to Korban's room stoping by Harper's room on the way there to see that she is not in there nor is Jake. She goes to Korban's room and gets him out of his crib. She pops his pacifier in his mouth before she lays him on the changing table and changes his diaper. She puts his onesie back on and then situates herself in the chair in his room and allows him to nurse. He gets done and she picks him up and walks downstairs to see Jake and Harper asleep on the couch. She walks over to the couch and lays Korban on the floor to crawl around. She runs her hand across Jake's arm and he wakes up. 

E: what happened last night 

J: she wouldn't fall asleep without me. 

E: your so soft
