Natsuki's P.O.V.

The sound of a suitcase rolling on the cement could be heard as I dragged my luggage towards a red car. My feet were hitting the pavement hard as I ran towards it. My mother, a women with long black hair that was in a high ponytail and blue eyes, was standing behind the car. She was placing a few boxes in the back of the trunk, which were really heavy, and was sweating a bit. I couldn't blame her, though. It was an extremely hot day today, and it just so happened to be the 2nd to last day of summer vacation. It was also known as the day when we decided to leave Yomiyama for a few years.

I walked up to my mother with the suitcase rolling behind me. When she put the last box into the trunk, she held her hand up and wiped the beats of sweat off of her forehead. She then turned her head around to look at me and smiled.

 "Got everything packed?" she asked.

I nodded my head, excited to get out of this town. Once I got to where my mother was, pulled the suitcase in front of me. I lifted it up and placed it in the trunk. Once I did, my mother closed the door and looked at me. She looked up and down at my outfit and sighed.

"I really thought you would never wear that again since were not coming back here for who knows how long," said my mother.

I looked down at my outfit. It was my old uniform from Yomiyama North, plus a pair of sneakers. I sighed as my blue bangs covered my blue eyes.

"I have my personal reasons," I said while hugging myself.

My mother sighed and walked over to the drivers seat.

"I figured," she said," You always have since you started this year."

I nodded my head and walked towards the front seat of the car. My mom grabbed the door handle before stopping. I grabbed onto the other door handle and was about to open the door before my mother started speaking.

"Did you make sure everything in your room was in the back?" asked my mother.

I sighed and let go of the handle.

"I'll go check," I said while running into the house.

I ran around the car and towards the old fashion Japanese house. I ran through the door and through the kitchen. Once I got to the door to my room, I threw it open and looked around. There was nothing in my room that I could see. I walked into my room and started looking at every corner until I looked at everything. I had left nothing behind.

I turned around and left the room. Once I left the room, I threw the door shut and ran out of the house. As I exited the house, my mother looked over at me and smiled.

"Finally!" she said," Now let's hit the road!"

I nodded my head and made my way to the car. I circled around the car and opened the door. I climbed into the front seat and sat down. My mother climbed onto the drivers seat and sat down as I shut the door. She shut her door and started the car. I looked out of my window as she drove away from the old fashion Japanese house. After a few minutes, we were on the highway, and I was looking out at my old home. I sighed as sadness started filling my eyes.

"Honey," said my mother," Are you going to be okay? You look so sad."

I didn't say a word as my eyes looked around the town. My mother sighed and looked at me as much as she could when driving.

"If this was going to bother you so much, why'd you ask to move?"

I wasn't going to answer until my eyes landed on my old junior high school. My eyes went cold again as I looked away from the town.

"I'm not," I said," I'll just miss a few friends."

My mother looked at me with concern.

 "Are you sure?" she asked.

I looked at her coldly. She sighed and looked back at the road.

"I should have known that this would happen," she said," You don't want to see that place ever again."

I shook my head and looked out the window again. The town was now out of sight, so I didn't have to see the place where my nightmares started ever again. I will admit, I will miss all of my friends. Well, at least the ones that are still alive. The ones that have died will always have a place in my heart, don't get me wrong. It's just, the ones that died are the reason I can't sleep anymore. The painful nightmares they have given me, and they got worse every death that happened.

But that doesn't matter right now. Right now, I just want to get to a new home that won't be filled with painful memories that happened in between the time Sakakibara first came to school and when the mansion burned. I had a lot of friends before then, but now I only have 4.

The first one is, well, Kouichi Sakakibara. He was a new student before, well, all of those deaths. We became friends really quickly after the his first day, but things got complicated at a certain point. He's a very calm person and is also very friendly. He's the type of guy anybody would be friends with.

Then there's Mei Misaki, my only living friends that's a girl. We've been friends ever since our first year of elementary, so we're pretty close. That is, we were. But we couldn't talk to each other for most of this year because of....... reasons. She's pretty quiet and lives on the top floor of a doll gallery. Most people wouldn't go near this gallery since, well, it's really creepy. But I actually really like it there. Misaki and I hang out there a lot and she even lets me look at new dolls her mom is making.

Next is Naoya Teshigawara. There isn't much to say about him, just the fact that he's crazy and one of the best people to be with when going somewhere fun.

And lastly, Yuuya Mochizuki, aka, my junior high crush. Mochizuki is a very calm and innocent person. He's an amazing artist and always has a different view of the world then others. This may have been the reason I started liking him, but that didn't really matter right now.

I continued looking out of the window until we past the sign that told us where the border of Yomiyama was. Once we did, my body started to relax. I laid my head down on the window and suddenly my eyes were closing. I hadn't realized how tired I was until now, and I think I know why. I started to close my eyes and allow sleep to take over as we finally left the hell hole that was Yomiyama.
