Kawaii demon Kyubey!!!!! And another song from Icon for Hire!!!
Natsuki's P.O.V.
I walked through the hallways of Kunugigaoka Junior High, happy that half the day was done. It was lunch time, thank goodness, and I was making my way up to the roof. I had my bento box in my hand, along with the first book in the Pandora Hearts series (A/n: I cried so much in the end, it's not even funny) behind it, and a note I had gotten from one of the girls in my class in the other.
When I got to the door to the roof, I opened it and ran up the stairs. Once I got to the roof, I sat down on a bench that was near the gate that surrounded the roof. I placed the bento box on my lap and my book and the letter next to me. I opened the bento box and sighed when I saw what was in it.
"What was I expecting?" I asked myself quietly.
Inside my bento box was a rice shaped like a panda with a small fortune cookie in it's paws. The panda looked like it was going to eat it and, I'll admit, it was kawaii. The panda was also surrounded by sushi that was set up to look like bamboo. There was also a small container that had wasabi sauce in it encase I wanted to dip the sushi in it.
I sighed in annoyance, but than almost giggled. My mother always tried to find ways to cheer me up, and this was one of her ways. I picked up the chopsticks that were in the bento box and started eating while having everything that happened today flood back into my mind.
Basically, today had a lot of drama. When I first introduced myself to the class, I had four guys staring at me with pure hatred and one guy smiling like crazy. Of course, the entire class noticed this and started spreading rumors, already. I found it kinda stupid that they did that just because of the look on the Five Virtuosos faces, but I didn't complain. I also got a million notes from a lot of the girls in my class saying that I have to stay away from Ren Sakakibara. I was fine with it at first, since they were easy to ignore, but it started to annoy me when girls actually started coming to me to tell me to stay away from Ren. Not only did I find this annoying, but sad since every student didn't talk to me like we were fellow students or friends at all. They just acted like I was their enemy. In these few hours, I only got the impression that this school was filled with drama since there was so much drama. Not to mention, this school is known for being at a really high level in what they teach, yet all of our work was easy, at least in my opinion.
After I finished my lunch, I closed the bento box and placed it next to me. I then picked up my book and started reading it. I continued reading it until I heard someones footsteps. They sounded like they were coming up the stairs that led to the roof. Suddenly, the door that separated the roof and stairs was slammed open. I didn't look up from the book, since I assumed the person just needed fresh air and didn't want to be disturbed.
After a few minutes, someone swiped the book from out of my hand, causing me it look up. It was one of the girls from my class, and seeing this caused me to nearly sigh in annoyance. Of course it's another one of these girls, and I can already hear what she's going to say.
"Are you stupid or what?" she asked.
I looked at her confused, though my eyes didn't show it.
"You didn't even notice my presents, and I've been here for a few minutes," she said.
"I was reading," I said.
"That's just an excuse to cover up stupidity," she said, causing me to sweat drop.
"Uh," I said," Can I have my book back?"
The girl smirked and slammed the book on the ground.
