I'm sorry, I love this song!
Natsuki's P.O.V.
I sat down on my bed with my new phone in my hand. It was definitely more advanced than my last one, and it could do a lot more things. For example, it could take pictures, tell you the news, and my favorite part, you could play games on it.
I had already added Akari's number to my phone and I texted her last night. Of course, I saved her number under the name Kayano, since she didn't want anyone seeing her real name. I didn't ask her about that, since I figured it was personal. Unfortunately, I didn't have the numbers of any of my friends from Yomiyama anymore. I was going to have to ask Ren for Sakaki's number later. Then I'll have to ask Sakaki to give me everyone else's number.
Anyways, it's been a couple of days since I met Akari, which means it's Sunday. It's a weekend and I'm extremely happy about that, even though it didn't show. I had finally finished this horrible week of school and I was hoping the next would be better, but like I once said before, that was just me hoping.
After awhile of looking at my phone, I slid it into my vest pocket and stood up. I walked over to my bedroom door and opened it. When I stepped out of my bedroom, I noticed that the apartment was extremely quiet. I looked around the apartment to figure out why it was so quiet, only to realize that my mother wasn't even home. I sighed and walked over to the kitchen. When I did, I realized that there was a note on the counter. I picked it up and read it out loud.
"Dear Natsuki," I read," I'm going to be hanging out with Nagisa's mother for a while so don't expect me to be home for a while. If you get hungry, there's some ramen in one of the cabinits. Also, don't go into my room. Love, your mother, Sakura!"
I sighed and placed the note back on the counter.
"You always say that," I said to myself," Why don't you want me to go in there? It's not like I want to."
As soon as I said that, the doorbell rang. I walked over to the door and slowly opened it to reveal Karma, Nagisa, and Akari standing there smiling.
"Good morning Arai-chan!" said Nagisa.
"Good morning Nagisa, Karma, Kayano," I said," What are you doing here?"
"Our entire class is going to hang out at the cafe Isogai works at," said Akari.
"So we thought you might want to come with us," said Nagisa.
"Not to mention the rest of the class really wants to meet you," said Karma.
"Oh," I said," I don't mind coming."
"Great!" said Nagisa," I figured you wouldn't have anything to do since your mom is gone!"
"Yeah," I said while walking out the door and closing it behind myself.
"Wait," said Akari," How'd you know about that Nagisa?"
"Her mom and my mom hang out constantly," Nagisa explained," Not to mention the note that my mother left behind."
"I see," said Akari.
"I can't believe they keep hanging out like that even though it's only been a week," said Karma," They seem to be growing really close!"
"They are!" Nagisa said as we started walking away from the apartment," And my mom has started to smile a more natural smile because of it!"
"Really?" asked Kayano.
"What's Natsuki's mom like?" asked Karma," I would assume that she isn't happy at all, since Natsuki doesn't even smile when something great happens!"
