My names Tasia, I'm 17 years old and I've been through so much.
I have a 9 year old sister named Tekiya who I've been taking care of since she was 2 years old while our mama was out doing whatever
It started out as just going out having fun with her girls and I'd watch her for a few hours to being gone for days and me taking care of her
One point of time Tekiya was calling me mama because she was so use to seeing me but I always reminded her i was just her sister
My father is currently doing time in jail while Tekiya daddy is somewhere out there enjoying life
We recently moved from South Carolina to Houston Texas
My mama said it was better opportunities out here for her, I wonder what cause she don't got a job not that I know of
But that's enough about me for now I need to finish unpacking
"Kiya you got all yo boxes in yo room?"I asked as she nodded
"Yeah, its so hot can you turn the air on?"she asked as I nodded "aye where the food at?"
"Nigga ain't nun we just moved here"
"Man I'm hungry"she said rubbing her stomach
"I got a few dollars and I seen a store up the street hopefully they sell plates"I said as she smiled "put ya shoes on and cmon'
She quickly ran to slip on some shoes as we walked outside
Our mama left a while ago cause she had to "work"she was always so secretive and I never knew why
I didn't believe Texas was as hot as they say it is case man I was burning up and I only had on leggings and a crop top with slides
Kiya kept complaining and complaining which made the walk feel longer then what it actually was
If I was familiar with the neighborhood and knew it more her ass would've stayed home
We walked in the store seeing a few people as it was a food stand in the back
"Hi how may I help you"the older lady asked
"Can I get two 4 pc. Wings, one honey glazed and what you want?"I asked her
"Regular"she said as I nodded
"And the other regular with cheese on the fries"
"Both?"she asked as I nodded "that'll be $10.58"she said as I pulled out a 20
"And a free drink comes with it"
I grabbed my change as we stood there and waited, she said it'd be about 15 mins
"Tasia its a park right across the street can i go pleaseee"she begged as I shook my head
