After school, Lydia and I had stayed and socialized for a little while. By a little while, I mean like 3 hours, and by socializing I mean I took a nap on some bench in the courtyard while Lydia talked to her scores of friends. Now that she was finally done we were home bound.

"Hey thanks for driving me" I chirped, glancing over at Lydia

"No problem" she smiled, taking her eyes off the road for a quick second to look at me.

The sun was beginning to set and I looked out the window watching the sun fade into the horizon. I was distracted from the beauty of the sunset by a lump on the side of the side of the road. "Lydia do you see that?" I asked squinting to get a better look. "I- I think it's a dog"

Lydia pulled the car over, and I ducked out to investigate. The dog was laying almost lifelessly, yet every once in a while it would whimper in pain. I pulled the chocolate colored dog into my arms and carried it back to Lydia's car. I yanked open the back door and slid the puppy in on the back seat.

"He's not dead..." I said climbing into the car. "But you probably have plans so if you want to go home and I drop me off at the animal clinic."

"You sure you don't want me to go with you?" Lydia asked running a hand through her hair.

"No it's fine. I got it. Go have fun" I assure her as she pulled up to the clinic.

Lydia waited for me to retrieved the dog from the back seat and drove off once I had the animal secured in my arms. I carried the dog inside, its whimpers filling my ears every time I took a step.

"It's gonna be okay puppy." I whispered using my back to push open the door.

Not seeing anyone in the front, I walked straight to the back of the clinic. I found a spare bed in one of the back rooms and gently laid the dog down.

"I'll be right back" I muttered "hang in there buddy"

I tiptoed to another room, trying to find someone to help this dog before it's too late. I hugged the wall and peered around into one of the back rooms and what I saw made my blood go cold. Four men were standing around a large metal tub, the tub was filled to the rim with ice water, and some kind of plant leaves. Inside the tub was a boy who struggled to escape their grasp as they held his writhing body under the ice cold water. The oldest man, I believe the owner of the clinic, had his hands on the boys neck and was speaking to him. Another angry looking black haired man was yelling something at the water, whilst two people stood with their arms crossed watching all of this go down. The two watching were none other than Scott and Stiles.

My breath caught in my throat as I watched the scene unfolded. My brain was screaming at me to run but it took me a good minute to even move. Once I could function again I pivoted on my heels, my shoes squeaking against the ground. I winced as their heads shot up and they saw me. So I ran, I sprinted at full speed out of the room.

I stopped to yank open the glass doors, but before I could get the damn thing open, I felt a hand on my shoulder. As soon as the hand made contact with my shoulder I let out an ear piercing shriek.

"Shhh" Scott shushed, he gently placed his hand over my mouth, since I was still releasing the screams. He guided me outside the door, his hand now clamped around my mouth and his other arm pinning my squirming arms to my side. I fought his grip, wiggling, and squirming in a sad attempt to slip out of his strong grip. I elbowed his chest over and over again, Nothing. My throat began to become scratchy and raw as the screams that ripped through my throat were muffled by his hand.

He released his grip once we were outside the clinic.

"Please don't kill me" I pleaded, turning around again and starting to run once again
