She threw the dye on the table, not caring about denting the box or its contents; just wanting to return the solitude of her home.
''What’s your natural hair color?'' He quizzed.
She read his name tag and began to answer but only a laugh came out. ''Your name is Hood?''
He scanned the items, not finding my laughter amusing. ‘‘Last name.''
She nodded and brought out her card since the stupid ATM wasn’t working. handed it to him and he checked the name on it.
''Emma? You don’t seem like an Emma.'' He trailed off.
''I’m sorry, if you would go file that complaint to my parents, I’m sure we could do something about that for you.'' Emma snapped. He probably didn’t mean it as an insult but She liked her name, it was simple.
''I didn’t mean it that way I’m sorry, it’s a nice name though.''
‘‘So what’s your first name then, Hood?''
He smiled confidently and put her stuff in a grocery bag. ''Calum.''
''I like hood.''
‘‘Well I like,'' He checked the name on her card and looked back at Emma's with an even bigger smile, '' Phoenix.''
He handed her card back and kept his grin on, like a little boy with candy.
'’Oh and Hood?''
''Yes Phoenix?''
‘‘Brown.’'
''What?'' Calum asked confused as She smiled at him and trailed off with her items.
