The night 'danced' by quickly. People were laughing and dancing the night away. It wasn't until after our last dance that he noticed the ring. As soon as he saw it, his eyes lit up with excitement.

Guests were starting to leave and we both bid them goodnight at the door. The orchestra was starting to pack up, but then I turned to Lucifer and requested one more dance.

"If you want, of course." He then turned to the players and the conductor and told them they'd be playing one more song. I put my hand on his arm and made my request.

"Can they play Swan Lake?"

He smiled and repeated my question to the conductor.

"Of course they can! We couldn't find a time to play it," The conductor turned to them and said "Get out Swan Lake, gentlemen."

We made our way to the floor once more. We danced the second the music started. I gazed into his beautiful eyes as he gazed into mine. I remembered I took ballet a couple years earlier, and I learned a dance to Swan Lake. I remembered them perfectly. I let go of him and let my routine take place. I twirled and leaped and spun back into his arms. As soon as I returned to him, he dance continued.

I noticed him smiling. Then the mood was ruined by a bang on the door. We stopped dancing, and the music stopped playing. We were silent. Then Corrina came running.

"Master! It's the police! They're here for you!"

I was scared. "We have to hide!" I said to him.

"No," He said, not looking at me. "You have to hide."

"I won't let them take you! I love you!"

He turned to me, his eyes full of worry. I held his face between my hands.

"Hide with me before it's too late."

He took my right hand and pulled me along with him. Then the ring fell off and rolled on the floor.

"The ring! Corrina, the ring!" She saw it roll, ran, and grabbed it and hid it in her pocket. Lucifer yelled over to the conductor.

"You're dismissed! Hurry on out!"

I heard their instruments clang in their cases as they all ran out. After running we stopped at a wall.

"Lucifer, what're we doing?? There's nowhere else to go!" Suddenly, he pulled a lever and a hidden room appeared.

He walked me in and stopped in the doorway, and turned on a light. There were a few books and on a box sat my phone.

"Stay here," He said. "I'll have Corrina come get you in a while."

"What?! No! You can't! They'll take you from me! Please!" I begged.

"I promise I'll find my way back to you."

I realized he was trying to protect me because he loved me as well. I sighed. He sighed as well. I rushed to him as he was about to leave, held his face between my hands, and kissed him. It was abruptly interrupted by loud footsteps headed in our direction.

"Stay safe, mi amore." He pushed me back into the room. The police caught him as he casually hit the lever, and I screamed.

"No!" Then the secret entrance closed, hiding me from everything.

I moved my phone from the box and sat on it. I realized his number was still blocked. I unblocked it and hoped he'd call or text me soon. I was in that little room for almost three hours. I had time to finish one and start another. Then my phone rang. I looked at the caller ID. It was a number I wasn't familiar with. I answered it reluctantly.

"H-hello?" I stuttered.

"Yvette. ." It sounded like Xander, but I knew better.

"Who is this?"

"It's Blaze. Where are you?"

"I'm still in that tiny ass room." I sighed.

"Corrina didn't get you out?"

"No."

"Hm. Well, the police are gone for sure. They have been for two hours. I'll come get you."

"Okay, thanks."

He hung up and I waited. About five minutes later, the passage opened. I stood and thanked Blaze again. Shortly after, a woman appeared. She grabbed Blaze by his collar and pinned him to the wall.

"Who are you?! What have you done to this girl?!"

I recognized her face. It was the woman who tried to save me.

"Stop! It's okay! He hasn't hurt me!" I rushed to her and put a hand on her arm.

A few minutes later, she let go of him and apologized, turning to me afterwards.

"I'm glad you're safe. That man hasn't hurt you has he," I shook my head. "Good. If he were to, he can't now."

"You called the police?"

"Yes, I did. And in good time, too."

My eyes widened. "No! I wish I never saw you! And you took him from me! If you don't get him back, I will spend the rest of my life making sure you suffer for the rest of you life and make you wish you were never born!"

It didn't seem very threatening in my head, but when I said it, I must've scared her a bit because she immediately took out her phone and called the police station.
