Sam's pov

It's been 3 months since (y/n) had showed up here, and I can honestly say I have never felt like this for anyone, ever. Not even Jess.

We have been searching for a way to send her back for some time, but it was all half hearted. I didn't want her to leave, and she was acting like she didn't want to go. But all good things must come to an end when Castiel found what sent her here.

"So, turns out that (y/n) is a very unusual person. She is from both worlds. Her mom is from the world she was born in, and her father is from this world."

She sat there in stunned silence. She kept opening and closing her mouth like she wanted to say something, but the information was just too much for her.

I went and sat by her, trying to help her through this. She finally got her voice back enough to speak.

"That's not possible, I've seen my dad's arms. He has never had any sort of writing on them."

"Well, (y/n), that's not your father. Your father's name is James Arthur. He made his way back to this Earth when your mom was pregnant and has been living his life in Portland, Oregon. The man you know as your father is far from that."

There were tears in her eyes as she looked at me, then at Cas, "so you mean to tell me that my whole life had been a lie??"

She wasn't expecting an answer to the question, but cas was so generous to give her a simple, "yes."

"So, how do I get back?"

"It's simple, you just have to find your dad and if he agrees you can return home."

"And if he doesn't" I asked, the eagerness in my voice was more prominent then I wished it was.

"Then she can't leave. I have some business to take care of, so I have to go." And with that he was gone.

"(Y/n)-" I started, but she cut me off.

"Don't Sam. I just need some time to let this all soak in." She got up and basically ran to her room.

It had been a few hours and I decided to go check on (y/n). I went and knocked on her door, hearing a slight, "come in."

I saw her on her bed with a tear stained shirt and her computer in her lap. She looked at me and said, "I found him Sam, I found my dad."

I quickly ran to her and embraced her. She began crying into my chest, just saying stuff about how her whole life has been a lie and that she can't believe her mom would lie about this. Her world was fall apart and I couldn't do anything about it. And it broke my heart.

"We are going to go talk to him. You are going to get back to your life. I promise."

She looked at me with bright hope filled eyes, and I wanted nothing more than to kiss her, but if I did, I would mess everything up. She wants to leave and I won't stop her.

Another time skip cuz I'm evil mwahhahahaha

We pulled up to the house that housed (y/n)'s real father. She was so scared and she refused to let go of my hand. She looked at me and nodded, signaling that she was ready to face this truth.

We walked up to the door and she knocked. There was some shuffling and then, the door opened. A young girl around the age of 17 stood there. She looked almost exactly like (y/n). It was almost scary.

"Ummmm can I help you?" She asked looking me up and down.

"I-i was won-wondering if James Arthur was here." She said barely above a whisper.

"Uhhhh yeah, he's home. Why don't you come in?" She said smacking some gum.

We walked in and it was the perfect little home. We sat on the couch and waited while the girl got James.

Soon an older man came into the room and (y/n) stood straight up. I stood with her, when suddenly she turned to me and whispers, "I can't do this Sam."

"No you have to, this is the way you get to go home. Ok?"

"Ok."

She turned back around and looked at him.

"Hello, James Arthur. I'm (y/n) (l/n) and I'm your daughter."

"WHAT" the girl screamed.
