(y/n) pov
I woke up in a cold sweat on silky sheets. I knew these sheets. It has been too long since I've felt these sheets. (Hello in story commentary. I'm going to use sheets way to many times here 😁) these were my sheets in my house. In a place far away from Sam. And far away from my happiness. The spell had worked and I was back. Back to a life I'm not sure I wanted to live anymore.
Soon the smell of pancakes filled my nose and I went to check it out. I got to the kitchen and saw my mom making breakfast. "Mom, why are you at my house?"
"I'm making breakfast, obviously." She said, like this wasn't a strange occurrence. "Sit down, they're almost done, and we have a lot to discuss."
I move over to the table in a stunned silence. My mom began putting so many pancakes on the table. Stacks and stacks of pancakes. "ok," she sighs, "let's talk about the fact that you are back."
"Yeah I know. I tried so hard and with the help of some special people I got back." I said, hoping that she wouldn't hear the sadness in my voice.
"I didn't want you back (y/n). I sent you away so I didn't have to deal with this anymore." My mom said, knocking the air out of my lungs. "I was so tried of all the scientist and so I sent you away so maybe you could live with your garbage dad and I wouldn't have to deal with you ever again."
"H-he was right." I whispered. "You sent him away, and you sent me away."
"Yeah I did. And this time when I send you back, I'll let you remember this part of our conversation." I'll give you until tomorrow night to get everything in order a-"
"No, send me back now. I don't care. I don't want to be anywhere near you. Send me back now."
"Fine, whatever you want. I still love you (y/n)." She reached for my hand.
"Bull mom, you don't and we both know it. Just send me back."
She started chanting and soon the world went black and when I woke up Sam was staring, wide eyed, at me shocked I was back.
Before he could even open his mouth to speak I ran into his arms crying.
