"Just a few more weeks till wedding date my pumpkin pie" i whispered as my head were resting on his chest.

I stood up carefully not wanting to wake him up.

I totally know what day it is...

Soarin's Birthday.

I did my morning routines and left a note on the table saying just went out to see some friends see you later h̸u̸n̸ p̸i̸e̸b̸o̸i̸...l̸o̸v̸e̸ y̸o̸u̸ Bye.

Uhhhh n-Nevermind the erased ones XD

I acctually flew to wonderbolts hq. And surprisingly they were setting up for soarin's birthday.

"Great to see you crash" spitfire said

"Hey shitfire, Wave ass, flatfoot, lazy fly and everypony else" what? Im lazy.

"How are you? Oh oh! What did you get for soarin!?!" surprise asked

"Something special" I giggled.

"Which is?" they asked grinning

"secret" I winked. They whined in disappointment and continued on working

"Youll bring clipper here ok crash?" spitfire said

"Totally...By the way what did you get him?" I asked

She smirked and pointed at a wrapped circle shaped present

"What is it?" i asked curiously.

"A pie pillow" she replied

Pffft. "i make a perfectly good pillow for soarin than that" i thought

"Sure you do crash" she said her eyes still focused on the decoration shes fixing. I blushed and said

"Did i say that outloud?" i asked and she nodded.

"Hehehe.." i scratched at the back of my head

I helped at some parts and when we were talking about how great the party will be rapidfire spoke

"yow dash the wedding date is near...I can hear the bells from afar" he said and we laughed.

"Yea yea" i said and saw spitfire with a sad look.

"Hey whats wrong babe?" wave asked wrapping a wing around her.

"N-nothing just...Sad..Because..After thunderlane was married to rarity He........He retired from the wonderbolts" she said and we all looked down.

"Y-yea..We miss him too" firestreak said

"He was a great friend" wave said

Why are we talking about this as if he died!?

"Oh come on dash have a heart" fleet said

"Whoops. Yea sorry" i said

Dammit. I said it outloud again

"also..." spitfire added and we looked at her.

"Seeing one of my closest friends in the bolts retire...I...I feel like we are all incomplete..And now..You and clipper are getting married...Does that mean you two will retire too? You both are one of the greatest fliers here in HQ... I never actually thought that the team can fall apart"

She started to sniff and tears were streaming down.

Wave comforted her and spitfire then-

"and you know what's the worse part!?" she yelled which caught all our attention in surprise

"What?" wave asked.

"Is that even though i want a vacation with you alone i cant because as Captain of the bolts the team would have a big problem with no captain incharge!" she said

We looked down and she stood up.

"S-sorry l-lets just focus on soarins party... I just... Seeing one retire...Makes me feel like i lost something huge and i wont be able to bring it back.." she said

"Well ask somepony else to be captain then" i said

"Even if i do..i wouldnt trust it.. If that pony falls the team..I would still be responsible for it." spitfire sighed

"Poor spity" surprise said and hugged her.

After a few minutes of long silence firestreak spoke

"Oh dash...Wheres the honeymoon gonna be?" he asked brightening up the mood.

I blushed madly and said

"W-wel- i-...I dont know...Probably in las pegaus" i said

"Nice" wave nudged.

"yea yea cut it out" i said

"You can call soarin now" spitfire said giving a small smile.

I returned the smile and touched her shoulder and said "Spitfire...your wrong...One retiring isnt gonna break our team apart. Even though we are all far away from each other..We are still a team" i said and hugged her.

"thanks crash" she replied and returned the hug

"can i get a turn?" wave pouted and we all laughed.

I flew back home and saw soarin on the couch eating a pie

I cleared my voice and shaked up a bit.

I dunno why XD

I flew next to him and said

"Hey my pie eating stallion" i said seductively.

He chuckles and boops my nose with his.

"Happy birthday" i said

"You too- i mean..thank you " he mistakenly said and i laughed.

He drank his water and placed it down when he was finished.

"Come i want to show you something" i said

"Tsk. Dashie...Cant we just spend my birthday here in our house just the two of us?" he whinned and pulled my waist making me fall on him.

"soarin...Lets go" i said

"Fineee" he groaned.

"Hey dont be a frowny clown on your birthday." I teased which made him chuckle again.

"I'm not a clown" he said

"But you like pies" I teased

Lol get it? Clowns like pies... Especially shoving it into the face as a joke.

When we flew to HQ, soarin opened the door and-

"SURPRISE HAPPY BIRTHDAY SOARIN!!!"
