Chapter 6: Scornful Abuse...

At night ~~~

Everyone was assembled on dining table ,meghana was just reading the plate ,it was clear that she was not hungry she was sitting there for sake.

Naina and dadi looked at each other,

Dadi :" Megha, Please eat something !sitting ideal in front of plate is not good okay." she tries to explain

Naina :" Di what are you thinking ?"

Meghana :" Will i win my self respect ?will we win in court? I am so tensed !I don't know what will happen now..."she says pushing the plate ahead, she walks up to her room without saying anything more,

Naina and dadi too got up leaving the food, naina got dishes sinked and kitchen clean, before going to bed she found Lawyer's number, Who was her senior in college! After searching for her Number continuously for half an hour she finally found it,

She was Sauna nair, Great Speaker and Intelligent Lawyer, Naina thought of texting her first and asking for her help...

Naina texted :-

"Hello Sauna di ,Naina here! I wanted to meet you tomorrow, It's urgent ?"

She got an instant reply after 20 mins where the text said,

"Heya Naina! We can catch up at 5 in the evening, at cafe garden."

Naina jumped in happiness,looking at her reply, she knew that sauna will help them for sure,

In morning ~~~

Naina :"Di come on we are getting late okay! Then don't blame me for waking late!" babbles

Meghana :"ya let's go!"

They got there in 15 minutes,on the way to market ,they saw many eyes following them, naina was irritated by those eyes, which were yelling to them "You are the deadly surviver of rape "

Entering into the market meghana started gathering the items they need and got thing into her bag, moving through all shops and vendors they got everything they needed ,while they were getting out of market.

4 ladies walked to them, as if they were following them for a long time, Meghana and Naina got suspicious about the situation,

First lady :" Do you heard about this sluts?" she says back pointing to meghana and naina ,both noticed it, while another one shoots her abuse .

Another lady :" yaya i heard ,this girl tried killing her own boss for money!"

Third lady :" freak ! Cheap people's you know ! "

Fourth lady :"How they don't feel anything ,means blackmailing the boss for one night and demanding money ,and when he denies, she tried killing him means wow !"

These four were exactly behind them, Listening to them for more than 2 mins, they cannot endure it anymore while Meghana finally turns back and bursts out, their mumers, their chuckes and flickering smiles got on nerves.

Meghana :"Just stop it ! Stop your nonsense! Do you know the reality? Do you know what happened with me inside that cabin? Did you see me after that half rape happened to me?"

Naina :" What are you getting from these? Money ? Satisfaction or what else?"

First lady :"Oh leave about us, You tell me how much money did you demand him?

The argument heated for next 2/3 statements when Naina couldn't wait more, She walks in to slap that first lady straight, Without blinking for second all women's shut their mouth as tight as they could...

Naina :" You all have crossed your limits. Just stop abusing !And get lost from here ."

Second lady :" Just don't forget you will be paying for this . The person you killed won't leave you . "

Naina points them towards the road ,and asks them to leave. When they saw here and there ,all the people in market were looking at them ,many questions on people's face was clear ,their eyes and mindset's have turned into mess .

When meghana noticed all the people ,she was ashamed She caught Naina by her hand and just rushed out of the market, Meghana did not meet eyes with anyone until she was back home ,in hug of dadi .

Meghana :" Dadi ,This all is just not digestible! I have lost my self respect and dignity from everyone's eyes, I am so embraced dadi,I can't even meet eyes with anyone ."
she was sobbing ,yes it was not easy situation, When one girl is raped ,facing the society is the biggest deal ever .

Dadi :"Meghu, Those who are seeing you with different thinking's and mindsets are not gonna come to feed you !They haven't seen you or they don't even know the real story !

Naina :"Dadi this was really something we never faced! It's said rightly, Women is another women's biggest Enemy!"

Meghana looks up at both ,meghana landed her forehead on dadi's lap ,naina sitting besides dadi ,and dadi caressing them both !

Dadi :" Remeber ,we all have to face new things in our life's . And this battle is worst i know. But crying and hiding from world is not the solution. And i know you both are my strong warriors . You both won't give up."
she says making meghana eye contact her ,

Dadi :" Don't be ashamed of anything meghu ,you should look at each one's eye with confidence and honesty. Let them think what they want to ,you do what makes you happy and stand firm to fight against this ."

Naina :" yes dadi, We will fight it together ! We can and we will."
she says smiling which was energizing for meghana, Tough times for three of them
