Five - Trust

ELSA'S POV

I felt happy when I heard Jack's voice. I missed them. I missed playing with Rapunzel, Merida, Hiccup, Jack and of course with my sister, Anna. I'm afraid that I will hurt them too just like I did to Anna. I don't want them to get hurt because of my curse! uugghhh! Why do I even have this kind of power? I want to go out and see how they changed. I mean, 4 years had passed and I would want to be with them again. When Jack told me that he has a sister, I already want to open the door quickly and see how cute she is. I also remember that he wanted to have a little sister and it came true. I was happy for him. Before I opened the door, I wanted to try something.

"Wait" I told him.

"O-okay." he answered.

I went to my window and looked at the view. It was beautiful. The sun was bright and it was a perfect day to be with my friends. I looked to my hands and asked myself. "Am I ready?" I took  a deep breath as I closed my eyes and removed my gloves. I walked to my door and felt nervous but happy as well. I smiled weakly before touching the doorknob.

As I touched the doorknob, it suddenly froze. Ice came out and almost covered the entire door. I backed away and tears started to form in my eyes.

"no" I whispered in shock and tears fell to my cheeks.

"I-I c-changed my m-mind, Jack" I said to him trying not to sob. 

"What? But Elsa-"

"No!" I grabbed my gloves and put them on again.

"What happened Elsa?"

 I went to my bed and lie down. I grabbed  a pillow and hugged it tightly and cried. 

JACK'S POV

I knocked on her door continously and still tried to convince her to come out. I want to see her again. I want her to play with us again. 

"Elsa! Please come out! Come on!" my voice was starting to change. Tears were began to fall from my eyes. I stopped and leaned my forehead to her door. I felt a hand on my shoulder. It was Hiccup. He looked at me with a lonely face and shook it slowly. Trying to convince me to stop already.

"It's no use Jack." Merida said.

"Why is she shutting us down?" Anna asked.

Merida, Hiccup, Rapunzel and I looked to each other. She must not know.

"We don't know." Rapunzel answered.

Rapunzel started to rub my back and leaned her head to my shoulder trying to comfort me. I saw Emma ran to my feet and hugged me. I half-smiled and carried her.

We went to the spare room where we played last time. Where we drew and had our name. There were flowers inside, beautifully decorated. I saw one died, and another and another as Anna walked passed through them. I remembered that Anna can control plants. I signaled the other three and they were shocked, they forgot too. We went outside and dragged Anna. As Merida and Rapunzel accompanied her, me and Hiccup decided to see the King and Queen of Arendelle.

We told them what happened and told the servants to clear all the real flowers in the entire castle. They also commanded them to not let Anna go to their garden. How could they not thought about that? 4 years had already passed. Maybe Anna still didn't notice that she has powers because she was still young.

The night came and I can't sleep. I decided to go to Elsa's room.

 "Elsa" I called. "Are you awake?"

NORMAL POV

Elsa was already sleeping when Jack came. Jack knocked silently and called Elsa's name one more time.

"Elsa?" he whispered.

Elsa moved and she was half awake.

"Elsa? Are you asleep?" he whisper-shouted.

Elsa opened her eyes when she realized that it was Jack. She got out of bed and went to the door.

"Jack?" she asked.

Jack: "Hi Elsa"

Elsa: "Hi. WHat are you doing here? It's late."

Jack: I can't sleep.

Elsa sat down, leaning her back and head to the door.

Elsa: I'm sorry

Jack: For what?

Elsa: For earlier.

Jack: It's okay. I'm sorry for convincing you.

Elsa looked down and just hugged her knees.

Jack: What happened anyway?

Elsa: I froze the door.

Jack chuckled softly and made Elsa confused.

Elsa: What's funny?

Jack: nothing. I think that was awesome. I'm sorry.

Elsa half-smiled. "It's okay" she said.

Jack: Can you open the door?

 "What?NO!" Elsa answered without hesitations. How could Jack ask something like that when he knew she almost covered her door with ice.

"You're afraid and I'm not" Jack whispered but loud enough for Elsa to hear.

"Of course I'm afraid. How could you not? I'm a danger to all of you" Elsa was feeling angry to herself because of the thought that she can't control her powers and she could hurt them all.

"I trust you"

With those three words, Elsa was shocked and felt something. She felt joy and had a small hope. She rested her head on the door and smiled as tears fell from her eyes. Those tears meant good. Tears of happiness that she had someone like Jack. A friend that knows how to comfort her and somehow understands her.

Elsa stood up and wiped her tears. This time, she didn't remove her gloves and as she took a deep breath she opened the door. Jack was leaning his back to her door and he suddenly fell when Elsa opened the door. His right shoulder hit the floor but the pain was bearable. Elsa giggled and Jack was shocked for Elsa's actions. She finally opened it!

"I'm sorry" she said while still giggling.

Jack stood up quickly and rubbed his shoulder. " It's okay" he said and smiled. He was so happy that he embraced Elsa making her pushed him because she might hurt him. "I-I-I'm sorry Elsa"

Elsa was breathing heavily because she felt nervous. "It's okay as long as I didn't froze you" Elsa half-smiled.

"Thank you" Jack said in a low tone.

"For what? For trusting you too?" Elsa asked and smiled.

"No." Jack said and Elsa's brows met in confusion.

"For trusting yourself" he added.
